Adele Yorde

Job Titles:

I am a graduate of Nashwauk-Keewatin High School and was raised upstairs of a commercial building on Nashwauk's Central Avenue, a building constructed in 1906 by my grandfather, Santo Frassini. After graduating from the College of St. Scholastica and working 40 years in advertising/public relations with companies in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, I retired in 2019 as PR Director of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority. My husband Steve and I spent several years remodeling the cabin my father Swede Englund built, and are now enjoying this chapter of our lives on the south shore of Swan Lake. We love to travel, especially to visit our two adult children and their families in Duluth and Atlanta. I remember clearly the day Marion Kumpula came by decades ago to visit with my mother about launching this very Fund. I am honored to now be serving on its board and working to benefit our greater community.

Nancy Roberts

Job Titles:
  • Secretary
I grew up in Nashwauk and am a third generation graduate of Nashwauk-Keewatin School. After high school I went to HCC for a year and went on to work at Merchants and Miners State Bank for 10 years. When I married my husband Wayne, I moved to the metropolis of Pengilly where we raised our three children Terry, Tommy and Travis. I became a ‘stay at home mom' and now my children are all adults. I have many interests, including crafting, crocheting, beading, reading and volunteering! I have volunteered in the past for many things including Catechism teacher for 12 years, Boy Scout Leader and Scout Master, The N-K Alumni and Friends Foundation (which just joined the Nashwauk Area Endowment Fund). I also served eight years on the Nashwauk-Keewatin School Board. I am proud to tell people where I grew up. Nashwauk was such a great place to grow up! I am looking forward to volunteering with this great organization and giving back to our community. nroberts@nashwaukfund.org

Patti Rebrovich

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Board
My husband John and I are both graduates of Nashwauk-Keewatin. We have always lived in the area and raised our three children here. We have 7 grandchildren, 2 of which are NK graduates also. We have volunteered in a variety of roles over the years. We've helped at our church, youth group, Bible school, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and athletic programs. Currently we are enjoying retirement, spending time with our grandchildren, family, and friends. We volunteer with Meals and Wheels delivery weekly, when possible. I received my AA degree from Hibbing Community College, both my Bachelors in Education and Masters Degree are from Bemidji State University. I retired from Floodwood School District where I was an Elementary teacher. I am proud to be a member of the NACF Board and feel privileged to be a part of seeing this vision be a reality. I look forward to the continued support of local communities, organizations, and the Nashwauk-Keewatin School District.

Robin Gangl - Chairman

Job Titles:

I grew up in Pengilly and attended the Nashwauk Keewatin schools where I met my husband Tom. We have three grown children, two of whom live in the area, and eight grandchildren. My husband and I are both retired. I enjoy sewing, reading, traveling and spending time with my family. I joined the Nashwauk Area Community Fund in 2012 as a way of giving back to my community. What I didn't know was how passionate I would become about this fund! Imagine a fund that gives back to the community forever! rgangl@nashwaukfund.org
