Our experiences traveling around Central America and the United States have guided us in building a comfortable unique space in the green tropical mountains at 2600ft (800M). The main accomodation opens the jungle up to our guests while keeping a safe separation between man and nature... With the goal of living a sustainable life, we have dedicated time and resourses to raising our own meats including chickens, turkeys, tilapia and hogs. The efforts have given us a stable base of food that we are proud to share with the guests who visit. We didn't know there was a slow food movement going on, we've just been living and sharing it the last few years. Mariluz's dishes are delicately crafted and requested among returning guests... Volunteering and surf brought Barrett to Costa Rica. Love and God have kept him here.
