BEN WILLIAMS TRUST

The Ben Williams Trust provides support to children with abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias) and their families, helping them to learn to live with their conditions and in some cases the threat of sudden death. It has achieved this through funding the creation of four dedicated and ground-breaking new posts as part of the paediatric multi-disciplinary inherited cardiac condition team at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London; a nurse specialist (Ben's Nurse), a Clinical Psychologist, a Nurse Consultant and most recently a new Physiotherapist... We are delighted that Cat Barraclough has been appointed to the physiotherapy post, which the Ben Williams Trust will fund for a period of 18 months. As part of her role, Cat is working with children to design individually tailored and targeted exercise and activity programmes, to improve both their physical and mental heath...
