The Museum of Social Justice is dedicated to telling the neglected stories of the diverse people of Los Angeles. By showcasing the history of social movements from the perspective of marginalized groups, the Museum inspires visitors to engage with social justice principles and advocate for change... The museum is housed in the historic La Plaza United Methodist Church at the intersection of the Los Angeles Plaza and famous Olvera Street. Thanks to its proximity to some of the finest educational institutions the world has to offer, such as California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Otis College of Art and Design, and California State University, Northridge (CSUN) the Museum has developed a diverse set of educational and social outreach programs to bring opportunities to the community. These programs continue La Plaza United Methodist Church's 100 year-old legacy of bringing socio-economic and health related equality to all citizens..
