ADELE LAWTON

Adele has worked in accountancy practice since graduating college, and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997. She works closely with all her clients to fully understand and support their businesses and has an extensive client base, from the smaller owner managed business to complex international organisations. Adele has enjoyed exposure over the years to different types of industries and varieties of work and has undertaken numerous roles, including Audit Compliance Partner; Ethics Director and Technical Director at previous firms. She is the firm's Senior Statutory Auditor and her team carries out statutory and non-statutory audits and regulated compliance work, including solicitors. She has considerable experience in the areas of fraud investigation and due diligence, receiving a commendation from the Police on her reporting. Adele has expertise in a wide range of businesses including charities; solicitors and UK Establishments of non- UK resident businesses. She acts for a number of global businesses, providing UK based advice and has a wealth of experience in working with UK subsidiaries of overseas parent companies. She advises on all areas of accounting, taxation, corporate finance and regulatory matters. In her spare time, Adele can be found in the gym and enjoys attending the theatre and travelling.

ALICEA WILLIAMS

Alicea qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2015. During her career she has worked for several practices preparing accounts and advising businesses. Alicea works with firms from numerous sectors, from small to medium sized businesses. Her main specialisms are the medical practice sector, legal profession and hospitality industry. Alicea was born and bred in Staffordshire. She loves to travel and enjoys HIIT fitness and Yoga.

AMANDA DANIELS

Amanda has over 20 years' experience working in the private sector and has a National Diploma in Business and Finance. She currently focuses her time on personal tax clients, advising sole traders, employees and directors regarding preparing self- assessment tax returns, P11'ds and assisting with HMRC enquiries at all levels. Amanda has considerable knowledge of the construction industry, providing contractors and subcontractors with advice on how to best manage schemes.

DAVID HULME

David has significant experience in the field of accountancy, having worked for large practices in Staffordshire over the past 40 years. His main role is supporting the firm's clients, ensuring they get the most out of their accountancy software enabling the production of reliable management accounts either on a monthly or quarterly basis. He is also adept at producing forecasts and business plans either for the internal use of the client or for raising finance from banks and other financial institutions.

GAVIN MARSH

Gavin qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002. During his career he has worked for several practices within Staffordshire. Gavin works with small medium enterprises in a variety of sectors providing accountancy and taxation compliance services, along with business advice. He helps businesses prepare cash flows, budgets and forecasts, provides information technology solutions, and in the past has secured over £200,000 in Regional Growth Funding for Staffordshire manufacturing companies. Gavin grew up in Hednesford and now lives in Stafford. His favourite holiday destinations are New York and Boston and he would like to visit Australia. In his spare time Gavin likes going to the theatre and entering marathons.

LINDA EDWARDS

Linda is a CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professional) qualified and has over 25 years in payroll in both company and bureau environments where she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in payroll, HR and Automatic Enrolment dealing with a variety of frequency and size payrolls for Public, Private and Charities sectors. Linda has also gained a CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Certificate in Personnel Practice and AAT Level 2 in Accountancy. After gaining her CIPP qualification in 2003 she became a Tutor for the Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) and worked for the CIPP for several years to train and assess others to gain their qualification. It was here she gained her BTEC award for advanced training and supportive tuition and her City & Guilds BTEC award for teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) Linda has experience in providing assistance to companies to enable them to comply with current legislation for workplace pension schemes (including Teachers Pension, NHS Pension and Automatic Enrolment).

MARK BRADFORD

Mark started his training with a local Staffordshire firm gaining experience with a wide and varied client portfolio. He moved to the Corporate Department, dealing with incorporated clients and audit clients whilst studying ACCA with the Financial Training Company in Birmingham. A move to industry beckoned in 1999 having been offered the role of Financial Controller later becoming Finance Director. It was there where his exposure to the complexities of running a business developed his knowledge and empathy for business owners with the stresses they face. Whilst in industry he gained his CPC for International Transport and later became heavily involved in working with the US Government and supply chain management working in Washington DC. A young family meant that Mark left his post to work with a former client that were in special measures with the bank. He received a commendation from the bank for assisting in returning the firm to normal banking terms within nine months. After a consultancy role he decided in late 2011 to form Bradford & Co Accountants. Alongside the Accountancy he worked with Business Rescue UK specialising in not only turnaround but development of existing businesses. Mark has specialist knowledge in the Hospitality and Leisure Industry as a professional licensed trade stock taker working with both the independent pub trade and larger pub groups. He is extremely client focussed with a very calm and empathetic mind being fast to react but never to judge. Mark can be found at his beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers or swapping his calculator for a spanner at the weekend where he is crew chief for his Daughters Championship winning drag racing team.

MATTHEW MASKERY

Matthew started his career with Lawton Bradford in 2017 and is currently studying towards the Accountancy Technician qualification. Matthew works with a variety of small businesses, and prepares financial accounts, management accounts, as well as general compliance services and VAT. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys playing football and Saturday morning park runs.

ROB HITCHENOR

After originally working for Mercedes Benz UK as a parts manager a change in his career path led Rob to a local firm before transferring to a large national practice in Birmingham where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He then in 1982 alongside a fellow accountant, formed Longdon Hitchenor ultimately employing over 50 staff and servicing many of the local businesses. Rob left practice taking up a consultancy and non-exec Directorship roles working in such diverse sectors as publishing, chemicals, building and hospitality. Outside of work Rob is a keen traveller expanding his knowledge of the German and French language. Rob is also a fan of football hoping one day that his club Birmingham City will echo the success of the firm. Rob brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice.

TRACEY HITCHENOR

After obtaining a degree in Accounting and Finance in 1980, Tracey trained in Birmingham with a large international firm of Chartered Accountants qualifying in 1983. She has extensive experience across a wide range of industry sectors specialising in audit and assurance from PLCs to owner managed businesses. Her special interest and expertise lies with charity audits, in particular independent schools, and client money audits, especially solicitors and estate agents.
