APEX DESIGN + ENGINEERING GROUP - Key Persons
Michael Bowker has over 25 years of experience in civil engineering in the Mid-Atlantic region. He recently founded and is the Principal Engineer of APEX Design + Engineering Group, LLC, a full-service Civil Engineering and Land Planning company. Michael founded his new company to continue to provide clients solution-based services to address their needs. Prior to APEX DEG Michael was the Director of Technical Services and Senior Project Manager with a local engineering firm where he was responsible for fostering client relationships, project management, development of staff, engineering services and business development. Michael also formerly worked for PADOT in Highway Design engineering local road improvement projects.
Over his career, Michael has been directly responsible for the planning, engineering, and managing of a diverse range of projects. Projects have included single family subdivisions, multi-family developments, commercial office buildings, mixed-use developments, environmental conservation projects, institutional projects, and multiple athletic facilities. Michael is known for being responsive, efficient, thorough, and able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with challenging projects and protracted public hearings.
Michael generously devotes his time to the community, serving on municipal committees, local youth sports board of directors, president of his local Little League, youth sports coaching, and Cubmaster and Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America.

Mike is an excellent engineer and a very conscientious project manager. He is responsive, thorough, and exceptionally even-keeled -- the latter being an especially positive attribute during protracted hearings, or even dealing with challenging clients!
