Amy La Motte

Amy has over 20 years experience managing a range of office finance, IT, HR and administration functions. Since joining Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors in 2018, her efficient, accurate and organised approach has been integral to our successful project delivery. Amy's background includes a variety of roles within the financial planning and investment, IT and industrial sectors, which have given her a wealth of knowledge. Her positions have included database development and management, payroll, taxation, superannuation, accounts and invoicing, bookkeeping, secretarial support, establishing and improving business systems, coordinating events and functions, compliance and reporting. Amy has a Certificate III in Financial Markets and an Advanced Certificate in Office Administration. Amy manages all administrative, financial, IT and HR matters for Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors. She is responsible for invoicing, payments, bookkeeping/accounting, progress claims, insurance, HSEQ accreditation, payroll, site mobilisation information and employee paperwork. Brett Matthews

Brett has over 26 years trade experience in all facets of undertaking, supervising, and managing electrical installations, commissioning and switchboard/control panel manufacturing in Western Australian and Victoria. He has extensive experience in industrial automated control systems and associated instrumentation whilst managing and physically undertaking installation and commissioning projects in the manufacturing, materials handling, and utilities industries. Brett holds trade certifications as Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, ACA cabling Open Licence - registered cabler with endorsements, Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas inspections/terminations, Australian Institute of Management Project Manager accreditation and is proficient in AutoCAD drafting. Brett has Water Corporation LOTO, CBH SitePass, Senior First Aid Training/ LV Rescue Training, confined space entry and working at heights training. Brett undertakes consultancy, engineering and procurement, manages and coordinates the execution and delivery of all large and complex projects by Mason Electrical.

David Sokol

David has over twenty eight years' experience in switchboard/control panel manufacturing, heavy commercial and industrial electrical installing and project commissioning and has been with Mason Electrical since 2007. David has previously been employed with several large electrical contracting businesses in Western Australia as a leading hand on major construction projects and was also FIFO at Ravensthorpe Nickel Mine. David has gained invaluable experience and a wealth of knowledge in switchboard/manufacturing techniques whilst Mason Electrical have been contracting directly to the Water Corporation's CWS. David has Electrical Fitter/Mechanic trade qualifications, Cert IV Instrumentation endorsements, Water Corporation LOTO level 2, CBH Sitepass and has Senior First Aid Training / LV Rescue Training. David works with the project management team and is the workshop, switchboard and MCC build lead at Mason Electrical.

Jack Webb

Jack has over 10 years electrical experience working with companies such as K&K Electrical, Fredon Electrical and Lend Lease iPower Solutions before starting with Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors in August 2020. During this time, Jack has demonstrated a thorough knowledge in switchboard/control panel manufacturing, heavy commercial and industrial electrical installing and project commissioning. He has successfully managed a number of large projects for Mason Electrical. Jack has Electrical Trade qualifications, Certificate IV and Hazardous Area, LOTO training for Water Corporation, numerous client and site inductions, Sitepass for CBH with LV Rescue and Senior First Aid Training. Jack manages projects for CBH, Water Corp and numerous small clients.

John Earnshaw

John has over 20 years experience both in Australia and overseas in the Heavy Commercial and Industrial Electrical Construction Industry sectors. Having worked with Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors since late 2016, John has become a highly valued and integral part of the team. John produces an exceptional standard of work and he has the ability to get others under his direction to attain the same quality with adherence to client and industry standards and specifications. Working in various fields of the Electrical Construction and Maintenance sector whilst in Australia since 2011, John has worked both FIFO and DIDO throughout Western Australia, leading teams for projects involving: Oil and Gas - Water/ Wastewater - Grain/Materials Handling.

The last twenty years have seen Tom gain extensive experience in industrial automated control systems and associated instrumentation whilst managing and physically undertaking installation and commissioning projects in the manufacturing, materials handling and utilities (water/waste water) industries. Tom holds trade certifications as Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, ACA Cabling Open Licence, Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas, inspections/terminations and Australian Institute of Management Project Manager accreditation. Tom has Water Corporation LOTO level 2, CBH Sitepass and has Senior First Aid Training/ LV Rescue Training. Tom manages and coordinates all Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors' electrical installations, commissioning, and maintenance/breakdown services.

Vernon Wedgwood

Vernon has over 25 years experience gained within rail, water management, air conditioning HVAC services and solar photovoltaic industries on various projects in Western Australia. His level of responsibility has included design, electrical installation, management and maintenance, supervision of staff, standards compliance, planning and scheduling maintenance, project management and accident/incident monitoring, reporting, and investigation. Vernon has a diploma in management, electrical fitter/mechanic trade qualifications, Certificate IV in Instrumentation endorsements, A-grade Electrical Workers License, Certificate IV Electrical Contracting, Water Corporation LOTO level 2, CBH Sitepass and has Senior First Aid Training / LV Rescue Training. Vernon is the head estimator for all tender and proposal packages at Mason Electrical.
