Chiara Mascarello is dual-qualified in French and Italian law (University of Florence, Italy - University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, 2014) and holds a Master's 2 in European Business Law (University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas, 2015). She was sworn in as a lawyer in 2019. She is registered with the Paris Bar.
She completed a number of placements with various French and international law firms in Paris before joining Altaïr Avocats in January 2019.
Chiara works mainly in private equity and LBOs, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Christophe Héry mainly assists the legal departments of French or foreign groups or the general management teams of SME-SMIs with commercial settlements and disputes relating primarily to distribution law, competition law, intellectual property law and new technologies (particularly e-commerce and processing of personal data). He is registered with the Paris Bar.
Christophe works especially with key players in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food-processing, high-tech and distribution (fashion, FMCG and retail) sectors.
He began his career in the legal department of the Nexans Group. He continued to practise distribution and competition law in litigation and commercial settlement cases for several business law firms as a partner with CL&A, Lmt Avocats and later Brunswick Avocats. Christophe co-founded Altaïr Avocats in January 2019.
He has developed particular expertise in managing international disputes (through the courts and in arbitration settings) and negotiating transnational contracts. He holds a Master's in business law / international law and a Master's 2 in international private law / international trade law (University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) and has also studied at The Hague Academy of International Law (Netherlands) and the University of San Diego. He has been recognised as a specialist in International and European Law by the Paris Bar.
Christophe has served as Vice Chair of the International Contracts Committee of the American Bar Association - Section of International Law (ABA - SIL) and has also been involved with the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), in particular its Executive committee and the Distribution Commission. He is a member of the International Distribution Institute (IDI) and Legalmondo.
Claire Burlin holds a Master in Comparative European Law (University Paris II - Panthéon-Assas, 2013) and a Master of Law and International Management (ESCP Europe, 2014). Claire is registered with the Paris Bar.
Before joining Altaïr Avocats in September 2020, she was an intern at the French Competition Authority (Autorité de la Concurrence) and at Peltier Juvigny Marpeau Associés, then an associate at Wilhelm & Associés.
She advises French and foreign clients on French and European competition law on anti-competitive practices and trade restrictive practices and on merger control as well. She also works on distribution, consumer and intellectual property law cases.
Clémence holds a Master 2 in Business Tax Law (University of Rennes I) and is preparing the Paris Bar, enrolled at the Paris Bar Training School (EFB). Before joining Altaïr Avocats, Clémence worked at EY Société d'Avocats in the "Financial Services" department for 3 years and was associate at LightHouse LHLF law firm since 2020. Clémence has acquired experience in both direct and indirect taxation and mainly deals with international restructuring and sale/acquisition issues.
Damien is a tax lawyer registered with the Paris Bar and has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on corporate tax issues, M&A tax due diligence and structuring, and private equity tax matters. He also has significant experience advising business owners, senior executives and high net worth individuals on their tax affairs. In addition, he regularly assists clients in connection with complex tax audits and tax litigation. Having practiced taxation during roughly seven years as in-house tax counsel in MNCs, Damien is fully aware of the companies' expectations and constraints and has a deep knowledge of international tax matters as he worked several years in Canada.
Jeanne Mucchielli holds a Master's 2 in Taxation (University of Paris 1 - Panthéon Sorbonne, 2012) and was sworn in as a lawyer in 2014. She is registered with the Paris Bar.
She began by working with the private equity and mergers and acquisitions teams at the firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei. She joined Altaïr Avocats in September 2019.

Philippe Beauregard has been a lawyer since 1998 and worked in commercial litigation and advising businesses and investors until 2005, when he became a partner at Brunswick Avocats, with responsibility for developing the firm's corporate and private equity department. He is registered with the Paris Bar.
Philippe co-founded Altaïr Avocats on 1 January 2019.
He works in all areas of private equity and LBOs for both business owners and investors, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions in numerous areas of activity.
After studying in Montpellier, Pierre joined the Fidal office in Casablanca, Morocco, in 1988, where he looked after a portfolio of mainly international groups setting up or developing their activities in North Africa. Following a number of years in the "companies" department with Fidal's regional management team in Bordeaux, Pierre was sworn in as a lawyer in 1993 and set up his own firm in 1994. In 2009, he founded EXEME with a group of colleagues in Bordeaux. In early 2017, he joined Brunswick Avocats as a partner in Bordeaux. He is registered with the Bordeaux Bar.
Pierre is a former Vice-President of the Bordeaux Bar Association and founder of the Incubateur du Barreau de Bordeaux. He has also served as vice-president of the international lawyers' network GESICA and regional president of the ACE (Avocats Conseils d'Entreprises).
Sébastien holds a Master's in Private Law (Paris Descartes University, 1992) and a DSUP in Business Public Law (Panthéon Sorbonne University, 1996). He began his career in the firm Poitrinal & Associés in 1997, before joining Fidal Paris in 2001. He joined Fidal in Bordeaux, Mérignac in 2012 and finally, in January 2017, the firm Brunswick Avocats in Bordeaux, as a partner in the private equity / mergers and acquisitions department. He is registered with the Bordeaux Bar.
Vincent Gorse holds a Master's 2 in Business Law - DJCE (University of Toulouse, 2007), and an LLM in corporate law (London School of Economics, 2009); he was sworn in as a lawyer in 2010. He is registered with the Bordeaux Bar.
He began by working with the private equity and mergers and acquisitions teams with a number of renowned Paris law firms. He moved to Pierre Gramage's team in Bordeaux in 2015, and joined Altaïr Avocats in January 2019.
