DARWIN PRAKASH BARITONE

After initially studying Geology at the University of Delhi, Prakash was discovered and brought to the UK by Dr. Robert Alderson in 2014 to pursue singing. Six months preparation in Manchester with Dr. Alderson led to a place at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied with Prof. Mark Wildman, Audrey Hyland, and Ingrid Surgenor. After completing his Masters in Performance at the Academy, Darwin became a member of Royal Academy Opera, graduating in 2019. His roles whilst with RAO included Ibn- Hakia Iolanta, Masetto Don Giovanni, Immigration Officer Flight, and Escamillo La Tragedie de Carmen. Upon leaving the RAM, he was awarded ''The Queen's Commendation for Excellence''.
