Artistic Director Rosalind Thomas-Clark was a founding faculty member at Boston Arts Academy from 1998. TC2 developed out of a need by Boston Arts Academy alumni to stay involved in their art form in a way that included high quality productions, community and diversity. We started in 2008 with 4 people around Ros's kitchen table, and, today, with hundreds of local artists and educators working with TC Squared, we continue to produce socially relevant theatre-from script to stage. We provide mentorship, training, and paid opportunities to young artists often shut out of the industry... TC Squared nurtures a diverse group of playwrights, meeting twice weekly in our PlayLabs to develop their unique and often unheard voices. Our community includes hundreds of actors, directors, and artists in the greater Boston area, enabling us to present our celebrated Art Salons and yearly New Play Festival, where we celebrate the power of ten-minute plays... TC Squared operates on a shoestring budget..
