On to the artist statement: Niamh Dale is a mixed-media artist studying Fine Art at University of the Arts London: Central Saint Martins. Throughout her practice she explores both the contextual and visual realms of her conceptual dream-world: Wannabe World, a transcendental catalyst through which Dale dissects our existence; with a specific focus on such themes as meme culture, pessimism and their relationship to the aesthetically cute. Since Wannabe World's birth in 2019, Dale has evolved her practice to focus on the development of several mini dream-worlds which reside inside of Wannabe World. The Dream$cape and The Mind$cape have evolved since the end of 2020-present, with The Mind$cape being the most recent adaptation.
