MediGrid is a product developed by Luminis Technologies, which is part of Luminis International; a software technology company with 6 locations in The Netherlands and 200 employees. So even though MediGrid is in the startup phase we have a large group of experienced engineers to support international projects and implementations. Not only did COVID-19 put a major stress on the entire health system, it also created a major task for the academic and pharmaceutical industry: find proper treatments and a vaccine within months instead of years... In the fall of 2020 we decided to name the solution ‘MediGrid'.
