BEER GAS

Besides CO 2, Broward Nelson carries Compressed Gases for both Beer Systems and Wine Systems. Our Beer Mix (available in 20 lb. and 50 lb. sizes) is made of a mixture of 75% Nitrogen and 25% Carbon Dioxide (CO 2). This mixture is ideal for Beer Systems Pressurizing Dark Lagers and Creamy Beers. Without Beer Mix, these Thicker Beers will absorb too much Carbonation, leading to a foamy pour and eventually ruining the Keg. The Beer Companies have "Certified" our Beer Mix Tanks and Beer Gas Blends for use in Long Line Beer Systems and for Guinness Stouts. Certain Beers such as Guinness and Boddington's use Beer Mix to ensure their smooth flavor. Food grade Nitrogen is also available in 20 lb. and 50 lb. sizes for use with Beer Blending Systems and Wine Dispensing Units. These systems will mix the perfect amount of CO 2and Nitrogen to minimize foam and Beer Loss...
