Dan is a Segal Duffek Moen partner primarily working with financial institution clients. Dan has dedicated his practice to becoming a trusted advisor to state and federally chartered credit unions and advising them on the unique issues that arise in the credit union industry. Dan will be the first to tell you he is lucky to have the best clients a guy could ask for.
Clients call on Mr. Duffek to deal with regulatory and compliance issues, vendor due diligence/contract review, lending, real estate transactions, secured transactions, creditor rights/remedies and bankruptcy.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, and his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Hamline University School of Law.
Uncle Dan loves to travel, explore the abundant Twin Cities' brewery scene, and spending time with his ten nieces and nephews. Dan practices yoga with the same commitment he practices law… he just dresses differently.

Kenzie is currently entering her third year of law school at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, expecting to graduate in May of 2025.
She graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2022 with a degree in Legal Studies in Business.
When she is not working or in school, she enjoys traveling, boating on the lake, or spending time with friends and family.

Mr. Moen is a man driven to succeed…for each of his clients, each and every day. Kyle primarily works in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business formation and governance, real estate, estate planning, and civil litigation. Kyle thrives on a love of the law and serving his clients. When Kyle is not doggedly pursuing the interests of his clients, he is happily being dad to his young son, checking out local sporting events, and acquiring praise for his culinary skills.
On those rare occasions when he's not in the office or in court, you will probably find Kyle at a local sporting event, trying one of the Twin Cities culinary treasures, or just spending time with friends and family.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Political Science and JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
