Can law and creativity go together? Yes, they can! During her studies in Münster, Anne Christa Berger specialised in the protection of intellectual property. And because you need to keep your perspective flexible when it comes to good ideas and their legal protection, she also completed subject-specific foreign-language training with a focus on US law and earned a Master of Laws (Commercial Law) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She gained initial professional experience in a large law firm in Stuttgart and then worked in a Hamburg-based IP boutique for many years. Since 2020, she has been part of FPS's Hamburg IP team and provides comprehensive advice to clients on all areas of intellectual property rights - including trademark, design, copyright and competition law. Using her extensive knowledge and experience, especially in the management of property rights, she develops application and protection strategies and conducts proceedings brought before trademark offices. In addition, she drafts and negotiates agreements related to intellectual property rights, such as licensing and delimitation agreements, and acts as a forensic expert for German and European courts.

Askan Deutsch advises and represents clients from Germany and abroad in all matters of intellectual property law.
