Adam's practice is national in scope and includes work for multinational companies, private equity firms and hedge funds, public and private companies, partnerships and individuals with a focus on complex commercial, corporate and business disputes, mergers and acquisitions litigation, business tort litigation, Delaware Court of Chancery litigation, as well as securities, broker-dealer and investment litigation and regulatory matters. Adam has over 30 years of lead trial, arbitration, regulatory and appellate experience in federal and state courts and before arbitration and regulatory panels across the United States. Prior to joining Chipman Brown Cicero & Cole, Adam was a Principal Shareholder in the Litigation Practice Group of Greenberg Traurig LLP.
Adam also focuses a significant part of his practice on complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Adam takes a lead role in core bankruptcy matters, adversary proceedings and contested matters involving a wide range of bankruptcy-related issues representing debtors-in-possession, Chapter 7 and liquidating trustees, committees of creditors, equity security holders, hedge funds and private equity firms.

Alan Root is a member of the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group focusing on corporate restructuring and liquidations. Alan has substantial experience representing clients in a variety of industries, including energy, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, retail, gaming, finance, health care, and shipping. Alan represents corporate debtors, creditors' committees, secured creditors, and unsecured creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings. He also regularly represents Chapter 7 trustees, Chapter 11 trustees, and liquidating trustees. In addition, Alan prosecutes and defends against avoidance and fraudulent transfer actions brought in bankruptcy cases.
In addition to his experience in domestic restructuring, Alan has been involved in a number of international insolvencies, representing foreign companies in connection with their filings under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code.
While in law school, Alan served as a judicial intern for the Honorable R. Barclay Surrick of the Federal District Court, Eastern District Pennsylvania.

Bryan Hall is a member of the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group and concentrates his practice on corporate bankruptcy and business reorganization and liquidation matters. Bryan also focuses on fiduciary and insolvency litigation in bankruptcy court and federal district court.
Dakota Eckenrode focuses his practice on corporate and complex commercial litigation in Delaware's state and federal courts, including the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court. These matters include mergers and other corporate transactions, derivative and class action suits, corporate statutory proceedings and disputes and federal securities litigation.

Prior to becoming Counsel at Chipman Brown Cicero & Cole, LLP, Kristi's practice included commercial litigation of contract disputes at both the state and federal levels, as well as asbestos and personal injury defense in the Superior Court of Delaware. She has experience litigating claims objections, distributions, and contested matters in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
Kristi has also represented creditors in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in the United States Bankruptcy Courts and in creditors' rights proceedings including foreclosures, replevins, and confiscations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts.
Kristi is a native of the mid-west. Her pro bono practice includes representation of minors in the foster care system in the Family Court for the State of Delaware.
