Julie's parents, Bill and Shirley Traylor, bought the "Flying Saucer" from her grandparents, Al and Ethel Ramsdell, in 1955. At that time it was a drive-up hamburger stand. Julie's dad was the cook and her mom was the waitress! They lived in a small trailer right out in the parking lot. Bill and Shirley gradually added on and created "Traylors Flying Saucer" eventually dropping the Flying Saucer title. Julie and her husband Bob bought Traylors in 1998 from her parents. Bill passed in 2001 and Shirley passed 2019... Traylor's Restaurant Is An American Homestyle Diner in Port Angeles, WA Famous For Their Steak, Fish Chips, And Classic Diner Atmosphere.
