The Beitak Baytak (Your environment, your home) Solid Waste Learning Hub is a partnership initiative launched in 2019 by Oxfam Jordan and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit(GIZ) under the umbrella of the Waste to (positive) Energy project and funded by the European Union (EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian Crisis) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)"... There are many different people and organizations working in solid waste management and recycling in Jordan. The government of Jordan, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, individuals and private enterprises are working hard to improve solid waste management and recycling services throughout the country. We believe it's possible to do more. To clean, preserve and protect our environment in the same way we do our homes. We want to build connections between the amazing network of service providers in Jordan, and to help people..
