Alexandra Hartman, a member of the CCPS Foundation since 2023. Alexandra was part of the first class of graduating IB students. She pursued a bachelors in physics and communication disorders from New Mexico State University and masters of biomedical engineering from the University of Portland. Alexandra is a simulation scientist for Infinity Labs.

Curtis is the Director, Head of Fund Administration with Thornburg Investment Manager; Treasurer of the Thornburg Open End Funds; and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Thornburg Closed End Funds. He also serves on the board of Thornburg Global Funds plc, an Irish UCITS entity. In the role with Thornburg, Curtis is responsible for the oversight of the daily operations of the Thornburg funds including net asset values, valuation, distributions, expenses, tax matters, accounting policies, and vendor management. Financial reporting, regulatory filings, and governance/board reporting are also handled by Fund Administration. Before joining Thornburg in August 2019, Mr. Holloway was Senior Vice President, and Head of Fund Administration of Calamos Advisors LLC (Naperville, IL) and CFO and Treasurer of the Calamos Funds. Prior to 2006 he was Director, Investment Reporting with Aon Corporation (Chicago, IL) and prior to Aon, Curtis was Director, Investment Reporting at CNA Insurance/Loews (Chicago, IL). Aon Corporation and CNA Insurance/Loews are both Fortune 200 companies. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago with concentrations in Economics and Derivatives. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) Accounting-Treasurers Committee, and is registered with FINRA with a Financial and Operations Principal Series 27 license.

Isaiah loves to discuss, discover, and learn. He is passionate about discovering what makes us human and how we might, through education, become better people to serve those around us. Mr. Nixon received his B.A. in Philosophy and M.S. in Geography. He currently teachers 10th grade history and is happy to do just about anything, particularly related to music, crafts, and old things

John is a veteran educator and administrator with 15 years of experience teaching and leading in all school types -- traditional public, public charter, independent, international, and even post-secondary. His journey with Cottonwood Classical began in 2008, when the school first opened its doors; John was one of the original 8 teachers. After three years of supporting the school's dramatic enrollment growth through teaching and facilitating professional development activities, John left for 8 years to gain new insights and experiences at other schools in various settings, including two well-established International Baccalaureate schools. He returned to CCPS in 2019 as Executive Director with a broader, deeper skill set. John is immensely passionate about the mission of Cottonwood Classical, and works tirelessly to support its students and staff members through day-to-day operations, as well as keeping everyone attentive to the long-term strategic initiatives and facilities master planning. John holds a BS Ed in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of New Mexico, as well as an MS in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a school administrator certificate from Santa Clara University.

Virginia joined the CCPS Foundation Board in 2025. Virginia grew up in an Air Force family, moving every few years. Since moving to NM in 1999, she established roots in Albuquerque and graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2002. Virginia also holds a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition to her legal work, she is a mother of three children and a CCPS parent. Virginia served for 13 years as a Board member for Albuquerque Involved, gaining experience in nonprofit grant funding and organizing monthly volunteer service projects for local nonprofits. She was also the PTA President of Alvarado Elementary School for four years. Virginia has supported the work of the CCPS Foundation Board since 2023 by serving on its Development Committee and helping plan the annual Fiesta fundraiser. Virginia looks forward to giving her time and energy as a CCPS Foundation Board Member to support CCPS in its continued efforts to provide a free, world-class education to students in Albuquerque.
