JUNGMAN STEM MAGNET ELEMENTARY

Jungman STEM Magnet School is a proud Chicago Public School. We believe that there is much to learn from our beautiful city. We give back by educating world changers who will influence their communities both now and in the future... At Jungman, students are free to explore their potential and learn how they can grow. We empower children through an innovative STEM curriculum, meaningful engagement with the community around them, and strong social and emotional support systems that facilitate lifelong learning... In 1902, a Chicago Public School was built at 18th & Miller Streets in Pilsen due to serious overcrowding. The school still stands till this day as the Joseph J. Jungman STEM Magnet School. For nearly 120 years it has been a source of stability through tumultuous times such as World War II, the Great Depression, and most recently the Coronavirus Pandemic.
