For two generations, L.S. Wimmer Machine Company has prided itself on working alongside customers to innovate... When Lee Wimmer founded the machining company in 1976, it was a culmination of his passion for creativity and desire to work with his hands. Lee's passion lives on today through his three sons as they work to keep up the 40-years-strong reputation of the Wimmer name... Lee began his training while in high school, attending classes at the Upper Bucks Technical School in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Over the next eight years following graduation, Lee received certification as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker and gained work experience to polish up his skillset. In 1976, Lee decided to make the big jump and start his own company.
