distinkt is a new Melbourne based vintage furniture shop. With direct import from Scandinavia (primarily Denmark), we specialise in mid-century modern designs. As founder of distinkt, I grew up in Denmark surrounded by Scandinavian furniture and homewares. Modern design is therefore in my DNA, and I have always had a great passion and respect for mid-century designers and architects. In particular individuals such as Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Poul Kjærholm, Hans J Wegner, Poul Henningsen, Jørn Utzon, Børge Mogensen and many more... At distinkt we acknowledge that buying furniture online can be daunting. At the same time, we want you to fall in love with the things you acquire.
