KIRST CONFECTIONS & CAFE

Kirst Confections & Cafe is open 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Both breakfast and lunch are limited menus and not the usual short-order fare... There's a new face in a familiar place on Bryant's Main Street. Adelaide Kirst opened Kirst Confections & Cafe in early November. She recently purchased the Fairchild Beans & Creamery (aka Fairchild Drug) building from Dale and Jolene Beld... Originally from Pennsylvania by the way of Colorado, Addy and her parents, Chris and Nicole, and sister Elly, moved to DeSmet about a year ago. She was an education major at SDSU when she learned that Fairchild's was for sale, an opportunity she saw as too good to pass up.
