Meet our newest team member, Akash! He obtained his dentistry degree in the beautiful city of Madrid in 2021. Akash's true passion lies in restorative dentistry, with a keen focus on crown preparations and endodontic treatments.
Beyond the clinic, Akash enjoys an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing football and cricket.
Aleks graduated from Medical University in Zabrze, Poland in 2006. In 2008, Aleks relocated to the UK and started work in a practice based in Hinckley. Aleks joined the TG's team in 2019 where she has been working since.
To stay abreast of constantly evolving dental science Aleks is continuously expanding her knowledge through different courses. Alek's main areas of expertise are in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and she has completed a 3-year course in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at Paul Tipton's Academy in Manchester. Aleks has also achieved a Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry from UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London. Aleks has an interest in Temporo-mandibular dysfunction and has attended various courses furthering her knowledge in this area.
During her dental career, Aleks has learned how to provide a holistic approach to patient's treatments, she always strives to find solutions that meet patient's needs as well as expectations.
In her spare time, Aleks likes to take long walks with her husband and their dog Basil. Aleks is an avid baker and specialises in sourdough bread. She loves good food and James Bond films.
Angela is a longstanding member of the TG's Scraptoft practice team, with a wealth of experience in both dental nursing and reception. On leaving school aged 16, she took her first job in dental nursing. This led to a lifelong love of dentistry and a qualification in dental nursing.
Bhavik graduated from Leeds with Merit. He has completed foundation training in Sheffield and a year of post graduate training in oral surgery, oral medicine and community dentistry at Cardiff Dental Hospital. Following his hospital placement he has worked in practice around Leicestershire for a number of years providing high quality treatments to his patients.
Bhavik's passion for dentistry is instilled in his clinical work, and he takes great pride in ensuring patients have both a pleasant and memorable experience. He is an experienced provider of Invisalign and has a keen interest in smile makeovers using composite bonding and porcelain veneers. He ensures his knowledge and skill set is up to date through attending lectures and conferences regularly so patients can be assured of receiving the most advanced techniques available.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing squash, travelling and spending time with his family and friends.
Bhavisha qualified at Birmingham University in July 2018 and has spend time working as a dental hygienist and dental therapist.
Bhavisha became interested in dentistry at a young age when she had braces. She used to be very anxious and was self-conscious of her smile.
Now her aim is to help her patients feel comfortable with their smile too!
Preventative measures is a key part of dental hygiene and Bhavisha will help to educate and motivate patients to improve their oral health.
Bhavisha will take the time to get to know her patients and build a good relationship as this is important to her.
She has had experience treating children and anxious patients and believes all patients should feel at ease during their treatment.
In her spare time, Bhavisha enjoys spending time with her family and friends and travelling to new places.
Claudia qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1996 and began her career in Hinckley. In 1999, she transitioned to Rugby, where she continues to practice to this present day. Claudia completed a postgraduate certificate in Advanced General Practice in 2021, this increased her knowledge and kept up to date with new developments in dentistry.
Claudia loves working in dentistry and enjoys being able to put patients at ease and carry out treatment in a relaxed atmosphere.
When Claudia isn't working, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
Dawn has been in Dentistry since 1998 and has worked at TG's since 2003. She has progressed from Dental Nurse to Deputy manager and is now currently Practice Manager at our Higham Ferrers site and Group Manager for all 4 sites.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going to the cinema.
Devki has been a dental nurse since 2013 and has an NVQ level 3 in dental nursing.
Devki joined the practice in March 2018 and enjoys the cosmetic aspects of dentistry and looks forward to learning more about Implants and assisting the dentist in the Implant procedure.
In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog (Winston) and travelling.
Dhru qualified from the University of Leeds in 2014 and has been with the TGs team ever since. He is committed to improving all aspects of his Dentistry which has led him to completing an Oral Surgery course in Sheffield, a postgraduate Restorative Course in Leeds and is currently continuing his postgraduate studies in Endodontics.
Dhru's interests lie in cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic orthodontic treatment ‘Invisalign©'. As well as creating smile designs, he also has a keen interest in restoring implants.
Whilst enhancing his clinical skillset, he has also been an Educational Supervisor for 3 years which involves mentoring newly qualified dentists.
Portuguese born Dr Ana Simoes graduated in Dentistry in Coimbra, Portugal in 2004. She then moved into the UK, where has been working for over 15 years. She worked for a number of years in the North (near Manchester), where she had the opportunity of attending several restorative courses from the Tipton academy.
Ana joined TGs dental Suite Higham Ferrers in 2011. She has a special interest in Orthodontics, having obtained her MSc in Orthodontics with Merit with the University of Warwick. Also further developing this area of interest she has attended several other orthodontic courses, including 6 Months Smile, Inman Aligner, Clear Smile Brace and Invisalign.
Dr Chetan Shah has a patient focused approach to dentistry, caring for his patients in a gentle and friendly manner. This approach, along side his knowledge and experience, allows him to care for his patients, providing advice and treatment in a comfortable manner. With this ethos, he has helped numerous anxious and nervous patients regain their confidence dentistry.
Chetan qualified from Cardiff University with a honours degree in 2014. He has since advanced his skillset across dentistry, also successfully obtaining a post-graduate in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. Chetan is also a certified provider in clear aligner orthodontic treatment.
Outside of dentistry Chetan enjoys spending time with his family / friends , visiting the gym and exploring different parts of the world.
A graduate of the University of Leeds, Dr. Noman specialises in restorative dentistry, combining technical expertise with a patient-focused approach to deliver outstanding care.
Passionate about enhancing both the function and aesthetics of his patients' smiles, he takes pride in providing tailored treatments that improve oral health and boost confidence. Whether it's a simple filling, a complex restoration, or a cosmetic enhancement, Dr. Noman is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes.
Known for his gentle demeanor and attention to detail. Outside the practice, he stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry, attends professional courses, and enjoys exploring the local community.
Raluca qualified as a dentist in Iasi, Romania at University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Gr. T. Popa". She is an experienced dental surgeon practicing general dentistry with special interest in Restorative, endodontics and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, creating beautiful smiles using a conservative approach. She is currently enrolled in a MSc programme in Restorative Dental Practice at Eastman Dental Institute, London. She has a relaxed and friendly style to put you at your ease however complex the procedure may be.
Outside of dentistry, Raluca loves to travel around the world to discover new cultures and people. She also likes to read books and spend quality time with friends
Emily qualified from the University of Essex in 2018 and has been a member of the TGs team since.
Emily started off in dentistry in 2012 as a dental nurse before continuing with her study's at University to become a Dental Hygienist.
Emily loves working within the dental sector; She always strives to make sure patients feel comfortable in her care and confident with their smile.
Emily loves to study and keep up to date with the ever changing profession. She's a keen advocate for the use of latest airflow prophylaxis master due to its advanced technology allowing pain free hygiene treatment adding to the patients dental experience.
In her free time Emily loves to keep fit by attending regular gym classes as well as travelling a lot to see all the beautiful countries this world has to offer.
My name is Emma, and I have over 10 years of experience in dentistry. I began my career as a Dental Nurse in 2013 and went on to qualify as a Dental Therapist in 2021. In my role as a Dental Therapist, I am skilled in performing restorations, a range of paediatric procedures, and professional teeth cleaning. Currently, I'm expanding my expertise by exploring facial aesthetics to further enhance my scope of practice.
Introducing Felicity, who recently earned her qualifications in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from Sheffield University in June 2023. Felicity's journey in dentistry began back in 2003 when she started as a dental nurse, fuelled by her inherent interest in the field.
What makes Felicity's story even more heart-warming is her connection to our sister-practice in Leicester, where she once served as a dental nurse. Now, she returns with a newfound role, dedicated to caring for the very patients she once nurtured.
Felicity's true passion lies in helping patients achieve optimal oral health, with a special talent for easing the nerves of anxious individuals. Her compassionate approach ensures that every patient feels at ease and empowered throughout their dental journey.
Beyond the dental chair, Felicity embraces a bustling life with her family, revelling in exciting days out and embarking on adventurous holidays with her husband and three teenagers. She finds solace in the tranquility of country walks and delights in the joy of singing, adding a melody to her vibrant life.
Georgia started her career in dentistry in 2010 working her way from trainee dental nurse, completing multiple qualifications to extend her duties, to now being Practice Manager of our Rugby Site. Georgia is passionate about creating the perfect patient journey for every patient who visits TG's.
Outside of TG 's Georgia enjoys days out and holidays with her young family.

Hayley qualified from The University of Manchester in 2009. Since then, she spent 2 years working as an Associate in the North West before moving down to the East Midlands in 2011.
Hayley's particular field of interest lies within Facial Aesthetics and it is in this area that she has undergone numerous advanced qualifications with the use of ‘Botox' and Dermal Fillers. Hayley insists on using only the highest quality products for all of her facial aesthetic procedures.
Hayley also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and always strives for an excellent aesthetic result. She is keen to grow her skill base and always eager to learn about the latest developments within dentistry. Hayley has a gentle and calming nature and always strives to go above and beyond for all her patients.
In her spare time Hayley enjoys spending time with her family, Pilates and Swimming.

In 2014, Haze qualified as a dental nurse whilst living in Bournemouth. She has recently relocated to Leicestershire and joined TG's as Head Nurse in 2020. She likes to have a chat with patients and put them at ease.
Since qualifying, Haze has gained qualifications in radiography, impression taking, and fluoride application. She's also currently enrolled in a sedation course, which helps our nervous patients feel even more at ease.
In her spare time, she likes to explore the Leicester area by walking or cycling and enjoys trying new restaurants.
Helen has worked within a dental practice since 1997 after qualifying from Birmingham Dental Hospital.
Helen has formed good relationships with patients over those years working with the patients to achieve and maintain a high standard of oral health, through periodontal treatment and motivation of patients to improve and maintain a good standard of oral care.
Helen endeavours to continues to do so with long standing patients and new patients.
Jade qualified as a dentist from The University of Sheffield in 2014. She has a range of experience in various aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, which has encouraged her to further develop my knowledge and skill base with postgraduate courses.
Jade has a patient-centred approach to dentistry. My aim is to provide individual, tailored treatments to each and every one of my patients in a relaxed and approachable manner. Jade likes to ensure her patients are involved in their treatment every step of the way, whilst also providing them with the skills they need to achieve their treatment goals and maintain a healthy mouth.
As a working mum, Jade enjoys seeing children of all ages and making them feel at ease in visiting their dentist.
In her spare time, Jade enjoys cooking, travelling and days out with her daughter.
James qualified from the Birmingham School of Dentistry, winning the Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry Prize. He loves to integrate the latest technology to simplify treatments for his patients, providing minimally invasive restorative and aesthetic treatment - and like all our clinicians, he keeps up to date with courses from leading experts.
Karen has been part of the team since June 1996 and started working at the practice as a qualified Dental Nurse. Karen has been Practice Manger for the last 12 years and oversees the smooth running of the practice.
I have been seeing Ana for many years as she carried out my orthodontic treatment when I was younger, which I am really pleased with All of the staff there are very professional, I would highly recommend.

Loretta Started at TG's 2004. She has gained extra qualifications in her 16 years in Dentistry. She is head nurse at TG's Dental Suite, Higham Ferrers. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, socialising and shopping.
Lydia has been in dentistry for almost 10 years after successfully completing the National Exam for Dental Nurses. Lydia joined the TGs team early 2019 and has recently taken over as manager. Lydia wants to give patients the best experience and service as possible.
Matthew Qualified as a Dental Surgeon B.D.S from the University of Bristol, England and has been working at TG's since 2012. Matthew enjoys all aspects of dentistry and believes in providing holistic care for all his patients
Mayur graduated as a Dentist from the University of Leeds in 2018. His experience involves working as a Dentist in the East Midlands and also undertaking the demanding post of a Senior House Officer in the Oral and Maxillofacial Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital.
Natalia began her dental career in 2008 as a dental nurse and subsequently qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Essex in 2023.

Nikki has been with the practice for over twenty years, having qualified with the NEBDN National Certificate back in 1998. Since then, Nikki has grown from strength to strength and been actively involved in her own professional development.
With over 18 years of experience in the dental industry, Oyedele Dele Jolaoso is a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist committed to helping patients achieve optimal oral health.
Rachel has been in Dentistry since 2011 and working with us at TG's since April 2014 and has progressed from a qualified Dental Nurse to Practice Manager and Group Compliance Manager.
Randip qualified from Bart's and The London in 2014. After this, she spent one year working in Special Care Dentistry where she mainly treated highly anxious adults and children under sedation.

Rebecca Atkinson is the dedicated Deputy Manager at Earls Barton, having worked her way up since joining in 2022 as a receptionist.

Tiago qualified from Portugal in 2004 and came to England a year later. Having worked in Lancashire, Merseyside and Buckinghamshire, he finally found his home in Northamptonshire and joined the TG's team in 2011. He loves dentistry and particularly enjoys working with people and being able to help patients.
