MR. B'S SNACK FUND

Hi, my name's Chauncy. During my time at Orrington, I met a very kind-hearted man named Michelet Boursiquot, or as we called him, Mr. B. I can fondly remember him bringing me and my friends into his office for lunch after we were overwhelmed by our first experience in the crowded Orrington lunch room. Many Orrington students and parents have similar experiences in which his kindness truly touched their hearts. Sadly, Mr. B died suddenly last year. To honor his memory a few friends and I have created Mr. B's Snack Fund, a charity meant to financially support Orrington faculty members who provide extra food to disadvantaged Orrington students who are often hungry before or after school despite subsidized meals. These Orrington faculty members have been purchasing snacks from their own pockets to provide for students, which is something that Mr. B would have done. One thing that I never doubted was that Mr. B. would always work as hard as he could to make sure that every Orrington student..
