We find ourselves, uniquely, a bridge to Europe with heritage as the signpost and, while we may not be as close to EU policy as before, we think there is a role for us in maintaining existing relationships and fostering new relationships. We are keen to encourage UK organisations to enter their projects for the European Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards and to share best practice from previous winners. And, as the UK leaves the EU, we will also be looking for ways to continue connecting UK initiatives with work across Europe, such as informing responses to the climate change crisis as in the European Green..
