Amy Landrigan

Amy Landrigan, MA, joined PMC in 2018 as a Regional Director for Senior Life Solutions programs in the Springfield, MO region. Amy later joined the Integrated Telehealth Partners (ITP) team as the Customer Relations Director, and in November 2021, began her role as the Training and Development Director and Head of Marketing for PMC. Amy started her career on the front lines of geriatric psychiatric care as a Crisis Intervention and Community Support Specialist with Burrell Behavioral Health. She then joined SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging as their Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver Reassessment Specialist and team lead. In this position she directed social media marketing initiatives as well as became a Silver Haired Legislation advocate and certified instructor on crisis prevention. Most recently, Amy Joined Enactus USA as their Regional Program Manager of the Southern United States managing 65 University teams of young entrepreneurs. Amy received her Master's degree in Nonprofit and Civic Leadership from Drury University in Springfield, MO, and B.S. in Psychology and Gerontology from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.

Beth Marczynski

Beth joined PMC in 2019 with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare census development, communications, and provider relations. Although she resides in Tennessee now, Beth's career has taken her to New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., and Oregon where she has led the marketing and public relations at numerous hospitals and facilities. Returning to Tennessee in 2012, Beth most recently worked for Universal Health Service - Behavioral Health Division as a business development representative and geriatric specialist, and Lakeside Hospital as a business development representative. A native Texan, Beth attended The University of Texas in Austin, TX, and finished her undergraduate degree at The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. She is currently working toward her M.S. in Professional Studies with a Healthcare Marketing Concentration at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN.

Betsy Dooley

Betsy Dooley serves as the Director of Embrace Health. In her role, Besty focuses on the continued development of an exceptional patient experience while building upon an authentic, accountable, and kind work culture to further the growth and expansion of Embrace Health. Betsy initially joined the PMC team in April of 2018 as the Talent Acquisition Manager, where she played a vital role in finding exceptional talent to join the PMC team. Before PMC, Betsy worked as the Director of Member Activation and Member services for Ascension Care Management, the Market Analyst for HealthLeaders-Interstudy, and the Director of Programs for Health Assist Tennessee. During her free time, Betsy enjoys volunteering in settings such as career counseling, patient advocacy, fundraising, and event planning for nonprofits supporting arts and culture, economic empowerment, refugee services, and neighborhood/community involvement. Betsy earned her B.A. in Communications from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Bob Zagerman - CFO

Bob Zagerman, CPA, joined PMC as Chief Financial Officer in June 2020 bringing nearly 30 years of behavioral health finance experience to the company. Prior to joining PMC, Bob was the Operations CFO at Acadia Healthcare in Franklin, Tennessee. Prior to Acadia, he was the CFO at a series of behavioral health hospitals in Pennsylvania, including First Hospital Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre, Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital in Fort Washington, and Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown. He also worked for the nationally recognized eating disorder program The Renfrew Center, and a Community Mental Health / Intellectual Disabilities agency, both in Philadelphia. Bob started his career working for the international accounting firm Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young). Bob holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, with concentrations in Accounting and Decision Sciences.

Bobbi Rowe

Bobbi Rowe, BSN, RN, is PMC's Regional Director for the Minneapolis region and provides support and guidance to the programs and administration in this area. Bobbi started with PMC in 2019 as a Program Director in Manchester, IA. Prior to joining PMC, Bobbi worked in various departments of a small community hospital, including OR, ER, and Med-Surg. Before that, Bobbi gained experience working in a larger hospital in their ICU and ER units. Bobbi earned her BSN from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA, and RN from College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL.

Brent Turner

Brent Turner is the Chief Executive Officer of Summit Behavioral Healthcare. Formerly, he was President of Acadia Healthcare Company Inc. (NASDAQ:ACHC), having served as President since joining Acadia in 2011. Prior to joining Acadia, he served as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration of Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. Turner serves on the Board of Directors of LHC Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:LHCG) and Surgery Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ:SGRY) and previously served as Chairman of the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare (NABH). Turner graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He received his MBA from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville, TN, in 1989.

Cindy Walker

Cindy Walker joined PMC's corporate team as Physician Services Director in August 2020. Cindy is responsible for all physician-related activities across all PMC service lines including physician talent acquisition, communications, provider contracting implementation, contractual compliance, and ongoing relations to retain PMC policies. Cindy comes to PMC with over 20 years of executive healthcare management experience in multiple specialties and most recently acted as a Regional Clinic Director for Pinnacle Dermatology. Prior to joining PMC, Cindy served as a health care operations leader with an extensive background in administration, management, financial oversight, and quality assurance. She has served on the local Chamber of Commerce Boards, been an active member of several medical management associations, and served on the board for Vintage Affair, a local non-profit supporting women and children in need. Cindy has also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity participating in their Women Build Project, helping families build strength, stability, and independence through housing. Cindy began her Business Management degree studies at Belmont University and is currently continuing her education at Bethel University in the Business Management professional studies program.

Don Lambert

Don Lambert is an Inpatient Development Director for PMC. Don works to share PMC's strategy of inpatient behavioral health success, helping to build partnerships and strengthen behavioral healthcare in communities across the country. Don comes to PMC with comprehensive experience in multiple facets of the healthcare arena and has a diverse history with companies of all sizes, including Walgreens and Sun Healthcare Group, having also served honorably in the United States Navy Reserves as a Hospital Corpsman. While running a home healthcare company specializing in traumatic brain injuries, Don worked through college, earning his bachelor's degree from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. Don currently lives in Gallatin, TN, with his wife of 33 years, Roxanne.

Doug Wilson

Doug Wilson is the founder and president of Integrated Telehealth Partners (ITP), PMC's telehealth division. Doug has been involved in the telepsychiatry industry since 2010. Having worked with psychiatric providers since 2003, Doug has experience and success in recruiting psychiatrists which is one of the key management services that PMC provides its partner facilities. In 2019, PMC gained Integrated Telehealth Partners as its third division allowing the company to provide timely access to behavioral healthcare for patients of all ages via telepsychiatry. Prior to founding ITP, Doug held leadership positions within Pfizer Inc. and University Directories. He earned his BBA in Marketing and Management from Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA, and his MBA and M.S. of Strategic Management from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Doug is a behavioral health advocate and regularly presents at government agencies and mental health organizations.

Dr. James A. Greene

Dustin Davis

Dustin Davis, MHA, joined PMC's corporate team in July of 2020, implementing and managing multiple behavioral health inpatient units within PMC's inpatient division. Dustin comes to PMC with over 20 years of executive healthcare management experience. Prior to joining PMC, Dustin served in executive roles that cross a multitude of healthcare sectors. Most recently, he served as Market Chief Executive Officer for Springstone in Houston, Texas. Prior to that, Dustin served as Chief Executive Officer for Universal Health Services in the State of Virginia as well as in the State of Florida. He earned his B.S. from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO, and his M.S. in Healthcare Administration from Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, MO.

Erika Nail

Erika Nail joined PMC in December of 2016 as a program director for a Senior Life Solutions Program in Carrolton, MO. In 2017, she transferred to a Senior Life Solutions program in Excelsior Springs, MO, where she was most recently a program director. Prior to joining PMC, Erika provided contract services with Tri-County Mental Health Services for 14 years. She served on a mobile crisis response team where she responded to individuals who were experiencing a behavioral health crisis 24 hours a day 7 days a week. She also provided responsive, trauma-informed crisis intervention via phone, and face to face at Excelsior Springs Hospital and Ray County Hospital emergency departments. Erika is a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (QSAP) and was a substance abuse counselor for the Ray County Drug Court. She holds her B.S. in Human Services and Sociology from Park University and her M.S. in Counseling from Webster University. Erika is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Faith Trussell

Faith Trussell, Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse, joined PMC in 2013 as program director for a Senior Life Solutions program in Missouri. She led the program from its opening to a thriving two-track program that was named Western Region Program of the Year in 2015 and National Program of the Year in 2016. She trained many Senior Life Solutions teams and corporate staff at her site, and created a standardized orientation process for all new PMC staff. In 2017, she joined the corporate clinical team, and in 2018 became the Clinical Services Director. She is responsible for training and ensuring clinical compliance in all PMC intensive outpatient programs. Faith's healthcare experience is rich and varied. Early in her career, she provided healthcare services to people in the mountains of Bolivia, South America, where she lived for eight years. Upon her return to the U.S., she worked as a wound care nurse in Long Term Care, and as a CNA/CMT instructor. She also taught high school health for several years along with Spanish, Drama, Choir and other classes, but discovered her calling in 2009 when she began practicing psychiatric nursing. Faith holds a B.S. in Nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a M.S. in Nursing from Aspen University in Denver CO. She is also a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional.

Hunter Jorgensen

Hunter Jorgensen is PMC's Business Development Director, helping to bring behavioral healthcare programs to rural communities throughout the western United States. Hunter came to PMC with experience in Business Development in the senior living and temporary physician staffing industries. Before joining PMC, Hunter led the Business Development team at the largest locum tenens company in the country. He traveled to hundreds of rural hospitals across the US to help provide temporary physicians to short-staffed hospitals. It was during that time that Hunter saw firsthand the need for quality healthcare in rural America. Hunter earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT.

J.R. Greene - CEO

John Robert "J.R." Greene, FACHE, became Chief Executive Officer of Psychiatric Medical care in 2009 and transformed the company into one of the key innovators within the behavioral health inpatient and outpatient markets with operations across the United States. Prior to his career in behavioral healthcare, J.R. worked for over 14 years in the consumer goods industry for some of the most respected companies in the world. He held leadership positions in marketing and sales with the Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble, and Revlon. He brought this consumer knowledge, along with his business acumen expertise, which earned him a Fortune 500 Company honorary recognition, to PMC. The company is now a leader in behavioral healthcare within rural communities. In addition to appearing on numerous educational television programs, J.R. served on the Advisory Board for Young Musicians Foundation, Junior Council Member for National History Museum, Advisory Board for School on Wheels, and Board of Directors for the Maple Counseling Center. He currently is a member of several State Hospital Associations, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Rural Health Association, the Association of Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare, and a faculty member at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center. Whether it was the result of nature or nurture, J.R. Greene walked away from consumer products and services in favor of the family business.

Jackie Halls

Jackie Halls, BSN, RN, joined PMC's corporate team in July 2021 as regional director. Previously, Jackie served as the program director at the Holton Community Hospital's Senior Life Solutions program in Holton, KS, where she worked for two and a half years. Prior to joining the PMC team, Jackie served as a nurse for 26 years. Beginning her career in geriatrics, she developed true compassion and appreciation for the older adult community. She has also worked in acute, medical/surgical, and obstetrics settings. Through her time as a nurse, Jackie developed a true appreciation for caring for people of all ages throughout the various stages of life. Jackie earned her LPN from Northeast Kansas Area Technical College in Atchison, KS, and her BSN from Washburn University in Topeka, KS.

Jeanine Rodriguez

Jeanine Rodriguez, MSW, is PMC's Regional Director, providing clinical support and operational oversight to programs throughout the El Paso region. Before joining PMC, Jeanine served as a Director of Operations for a facility providing service in the US, Canada, and Mexico, a Clinical Therapist at a psychiatric facility in NM, and a Child Welfare Manager, CAC Supervisor, and Forensic Interviewer in NM. Jeanine earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a minor in Rural Social Work Practice from Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM.

Jessica Couch

Jessica Couch, Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse, joined PMC's corporate team as a Regional Director for PMC's inpatient division in May of 2019 and became Regional Clinical Director in July of 2020. Most recently, she was an inpatient nurse leader on a 46-bed behavioral health and addictions unit. She previously worked for PMC as a Program Director and assisted with the opening of the very first Senior Life Solutions program in the state of Indiana. Jessica comes to PMC with extensive behavioral health inpatient experience that includes child/adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. She is a strong mental health awareness advocate and desires to see the barriers to mental health broken down.

John 'JD' Frattini

JD joined PMC in 2016 as a regional director. He oversees Senior Life Solutions operations in the Nashville region, providing operational oversight and program support. He brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors with experience across multiple industries including healthcare, insurance and social service organizations. Prior to joining PMC, JD was responsible for the operational management, program development and strategic growth for national non-profit health organization, American Cancer Society. Before entering the non-profit sector, he spent more than 10 years in the insurance industry overseeing regional operations and compliance programs. JD has extensive experience in the design, development and delivery of multi-dimensional, cross-functional business models, covering a wide industry spectrum. During his 20 years working across these industries, he has helped launch numerous programs, from the inception of an idea, through the preparation and presentation of business plans. Throughout his career he has successfully demonstrated an understanding of the delicate balance between the dedication to mission, the need for bold entrepreneurial initiatives, and the importance of strategic planning.

Julie Nichols

Julie Nichols, Regional Director, provides clinical and operational oversight to programs throughout the Omaha Region. She joined PMC in 2015 as a program director for one of the Senior Life Solutions programs in Missouri. Prior to joining PMC, Julie was Social Services Director for a 120 bed skilled nursing facility and worked on an interdisciplinary team for identifying care needs. She was also an active member of the Enrichment Committee toward Culture Change in Nursing Facilities. Julie's passion for working with the geriatric population has steered her career and allowed her to create many partnerships throughout Northwest Missouri. Most recently, she worked for the Missouri Department of Mental Health where she was part of a statewide work group that created an abuse and neglect training curriculum for state and community based caregivers across Missouri. Julie obtained her B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University.

Kirby Johnson

Kirby Johnson is PMC's Business Development Director, working on expanding access to quality behavioral health care in Minnesota and the greater Midwest area.  Before joining PMC, Kirby spent over ten years as the CEO for critical access hospitals across the country. Through his experience, Kirby gained a deeper understanding of the need for behavioral health care in rural communities and feels passionate about the growth of Senior Life Solutions as an opportunity to help people in rural America receive the care that they need.  Kirby earned a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and finance from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. He then acquired his Master of Health Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Kirby also serves as a member of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. 

Lacey Sullenger

Lacey Sullenger, RN, started with PMC as the Program Director of a 2- track program at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, MO, and now serves as a Regional Director on PMC's corporate team. Lacey came to PMC with knowledge and passion for caring for the geriatric population. Prior to joining PMC, Lacey was charge nurse of a long-term care facility in Missouri. She took care of long term residents, skilled care patients, and transitional living unit patients with behavioral health illnesses. Lacey has a B.S. in Health Studies from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO, and her B.S. in Nursing from North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO.

Lindsey Hash

Lindsey Hash, LCSW, joined PMC in 2016 when she began working as a PRN therapist for Senior Life Solutions. She then transitioned to a full-time therapist for the Senior Life Solutions program in Richmond, MO, where she spent two years. In 2018, Lindsey received a promotion where she became the Program Director for Senior Life Solutions in Excelsior Springs, MO, and held that position for three years. In November 2021, she became a Regional Clinical Specialist. Lindsey brings varied experience in outpatient group and individual therapy, substance abuse treatment, and case management for adults and children with mental illnesses. Lindsey earned her B.S. and M.S. in Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Lisa Sheppard

Lisa Sheppard, MSN, RN, is PMC's Quality Assurance and Risk Manager. Lisa focuses on providing clinical support for our teams by developing system-wide quality and risk processes and ensuring clinical compliance. Lisa comes to the PMC corporate team from her position as inpatient psychiatric program director, where her leadership guided the care of more than 800 patients experiencing mental health crises annually. Lisa's extensive experience in hospital leadership, patient-care operations, and clinical care make her a resource for PMC teams on their quality journey. While most of Lisa's 20 years of nursing experience is in the hospital environment, she has also worked in home health, hospice, and clinic settings and has served as adjunct nursing faculty. Through her various areas of nursing experience, Lisa realized her true passion in nursing lies in ensuring those experiencing mental health concerns have access to evidence-based and high-quality mental health care. Lisa started her nursing career as a licensed practical nurse and then advanced to a Registered Nurse. In 2020, she completed a Nurse Executive Master's of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University.

Lyndsay Irvine

Lyndsay Irvine, RN, began working at PMC in March 2019 as a Program Director for a Senior Life Solutions program in Cresco, IA, and now serves as the Regional Director for the Mason City Region.  Lyndsay came to PMC with experience working in long-term care and clinic settings which provided her a variety of knowledge on different illnesses. Prior to joining PMC, Lyndsay worked as the Director of Nursing for Kensington Place Assisted Living in New Hampton, IA.  Lyndsay has worked as a nurse in a long-term care facility as well as different clinics where she assisted physicians, delivered patient care, and assisted with patient treatments. Lyndsay earned her A.S. in Nursing from NICC in Calmar, IA, and her B.S. in Nursing through Allen College of Nursing in Waterloo, IA.

Lynsey Perry

Lynsey Perry, vice president of operations, provides operational oversight to PMC's team of regional directors and ensures efficient and effective management in all programs nation-wide. Responsible for upholding PMC's standards of excellence, she collaborates with hospital leadership, regional directors, and local teams to ensure program operations are founded on exceptional patient care, diligent compliance, and a dedicated community investment. Lynsey earned her B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, and her M.S. in Healthcare Administration at Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA. Passionate about serving older adults, Lynsey has dedicated the last 10 of her 16 years in behavioral health to geriatric care. She is enthusiastic about identifying individuals who may benefit from the multitude of services provided by Senior Life Solutions and its team members. Lynsey joined PMC in 2010.

Maggie Music

Maggie Music joined PMC in July 2020 as Vice President of Human Resources. Maggie partners with leaders and teams across the enterprise to drive transformational change. Prior to joining PMC, Maggie's HR experience crosses over various lines of business including physician-owned medical groups, hospital operations, and ambulatory surgery centers. In these leadership roles, Maggie and her teams partnered closely with business leaders to design people and culture strategies that accelerated performance and team member engagement. With over 15 years of healthcare experience, Maggie has a passion for developing HR teams and offering operational focused HR leadership. Maggie holds a B.S. from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI, and attended Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Matt Karpovich

There he helped to identify and retain personnel and spent time in the behavioral health space working to identify and provide support for specific needs within the K-12 school system across the country. Matt Phelan is PMC's Inpatient Development Director. Matt is working to build successful partnerships with hospitals and strengthen inpatient behavioral health units across the country. Before joining PMC, Matt spent the past decade as a medical device representative, working closely with clinicians and department managers in over 100 hospitals across CA & NV. Passionate about quality patient care as well as community involvement, while in CA Matt also served in various leadership roles at a church he helped plant in Roseville, CA. Matt earned his BS in Business Administration from Sacramento State University in Sacramento, CA. He also studied abroad, learning Spanish at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. Having moved his family of six from Northern CA, Matt is now enjoying his new country lifestyle in Middle TN.

Matt Smith

Matt Smith, CPA, CHFP, comes to PMC with over 10 years of professional experience in multiple industries. Most recently, he was with the Sheakley Group and served as the Controller for their Payroll Service and 401(k) Administration divisions. Prior to the Sheakley Group, Matt spent several years leading the Accounting and Finance teams at Summit Healthcare and Prime Home Entertainment. Matt has also held Internal Audit positions with The United Methodist Publishing House and The State of Tennessee. Matt holds his BBA in Accounting from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP®). To be awarded the CHFP distinction, applicants must be a Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) member and have completed HFMA's Business of Health Care and HFMA's Operational Excellence programs. Coming from a long family line of individuals serving in the healthcare industry, Matt continues his family tradition and passion by joining PMC.

Melissa Martin

Melissa Martin joined PMC in April of 2016 as the Community Education Director. In 2019, she became PMC's Program Development Director. Melissa is responsible for providing operational development and support to programs with a specific focus on community education and implementation of new programs. Melissa began her career in a residential center for at-risk youth where she witnessed the impact of addiction in families and the stigma of mental health in rural communities. Inspired to do more, she became a registered addiction specialist. For 20 years Melissa has dedicated her career to behavioral health and has served in a variety of capacities from addiction counseling to program management, but she specializes in engaging and educating communities.

Mica Harris

Mica Harris, Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse, provides clinical and operational oversight to programs throughout the region. Mica joined PMC in July of 2016 as a program director for a Senior Life Solutions program in the state of Iowa and now serves as the senior regional director. Mica's passion for clinical care and longevity in the field attributed to her success as a program director, allows her to bring a unique and valuable skillset to PMC. She began her nursing career in 1994. Mica has experience in long-term care, home care medical, home care infusion, neonatal intensive care, GI procedural nursing, and nursing management of a busy central catheter placement team. Mica received her BSN from The University of Iowa, an MSN in Leadership, and a MSN in Education from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. She received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from St. Catherine University. She also holds a Nurse Executive certificate from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Mitchell J. Blutt

Mitchell Blutt, MD is the CEO of Consonance Capital, a health care focused investment firm. He is the former Executive Partner of J.P. Morgan Partners (JPMP). He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, in the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Blutt completed his BA and MD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania through the Clinical Scholars Fellowship sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Blutt has served on numerous boards of directors, including Cardinal Health, Cooper Holding, DJ Orthopedics, Fisher Scientific, General Medical, Hanger Orthopedic Group, Medical Arts Press, Tenax, Thermoscan and KEPRO. He also formerly served on the Board of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the Board of Trustees of Penn Medicine (the Health System of the University of Pennsylvania), the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Board of The Brearley School. He currently serves on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences and is the Chairman of the External Advisory Board of CHIBE (Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics) at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Blutt is a recipient of the Alumni Award of Merit, the University of Pennsylvania's highest honor. He serves on the Board of Overseers of Weill Cornell Medicine and is on the Executive Committee of the Dean's Council, an advisory board to the Dean. Dr. Blutt is also a member of the New York Weill Cornell Council, an advisory board to the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Commonwealth Fund, a private foundation that supports independent research on health and social issues and makes grants to improve health care practice and policy. Dr. Blutt also serves on the Board of Bako, a premier national provider of specialty laboratory testing and other high quality pathology services, and PMC (Psychiatric Medical Care), the leading operator of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs in rural communities. Dr. Blutt founded Consonance Capital in 2005.

From 2011-January 2013, she was Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy in the Obama White House. A health policy expert, DeParle previously served as Counselor to the President and Director of the White House Office of Health Reform. She spearheaded President Obama's successful effort to enact the Affordable Care Act and managed the initial implementation of the law.
