Ryan Emerson joined Faelon Partners, Ltd. in 1999 and is responsible for the management of network infrastructure, merger & acquisition market research and database management. Over the past twenty years, Ryan has developed a national database of strategic, financial and Private Equity buyers used in the marketing and outreach efforts. His database allows Faelon Partners to develop comprehensive and customized workflows during client projects, including purchase & divesture trends within the M & A Industry. Ryan also participates in the overall process of preparing and selling businesses on behalf of our clients. Ryan believes in the firm's dedication to "giving back" within the local community. He serves as the web producer for Minnesota Military Radio and Today's Business Radio shows. Ryan volunteers his time at the Minnesota Military Family Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving military families in need of financial assistance. He earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Information Technology from Dunwoody Institute, in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to Faelon Partners, Ltd, Ryan worked at a variety of companies, including Tuttle's Inc., POS Business Systems and Atrix International. His role within these organizations ranged from technology to innovation.

Thomas W. Lyons is founder and principal partner of Faelon Partners, Ltd., a mergers, acquisitions, and advisory firm in Golden Valley, Minnesota. For 37 years, Mr. Lyons has owned, operated, bought, and sold businesses. For 10 years, he served as the business manager of the Minneapolis law firm, Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey. During this time, he was also Vice President of a local investment group and responsible for analyzing the financial position of hundreds of companies for possible acquisition. For the past 27 years, he has advised and represented owners in buying and selling businesses, and in planning business exit strategies. He also represents buyers in structured growth and expansion acquisitions. Faelon Partners, Ltd., has been a nationwide merger and acquisition firm since 1985. Mr. Lyons is a frequent speaker, host of "Today's Business Radio," guest lecturer at university MBA programs, contributing writer to business publications, and a resource for the business page of the Minneapolis StarTribune. He is the author of the acclaimed book, Exit Strategy: Maximizing the Value of Your Business, (Sales Gravy Press, third edition). Exit Strategy was written for business owners to help them see the advantages of developing an exit strategy in order to maximize the value of their businesses, minimize the tax ramifications and control the timing of the eventual sale. Mr. Lyons is actively involved in the BeyondtheYellowRibbon.org program in order to help support our troops and their families. As a Viet Nam Veteran of the US Air Force, he believes that it is his duty to ensure that today's troops are treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve after having risked their lives for our Country.
