James Williams

As a former commercial and mergers & acquisitions lawyer, James brings to Six O'Clock a unique skillset that marries his strong knowledge of, and expertise in, capital markets, regulatory affairs and stakeholder management Prior to joining the firm, James worked in internal communication and compliance with Australia Post's Employee Relations division, where he was able to combine his extensive legal affairs background with a growing focus on strategic communication and stakeholder engagement. As a senior corporate lawyer, James spent 14 years in private practice and in-house across a range of sectors, in Australia and the UK. At Six O'Clock, James' portfolio of clients spans the capital markets, superannuation and financial services sectors, along with large retail, property and public sector agencies.

Jim Stiliadis

Jim has almost 30 years' experience in corporate affairs, reputation management, stakeholder relations and financial communication practice in both consulting and corporate environments. Throughout his career, he has built and led corporate affairs and communication functions at Merrill Lynch Australia/NZ and National Australia Bank and he has worked on a range of high-profile projects and issues including a beverage industry demerger and sale, a foreign exchange scandal, a state-wide gas disaster, and large-scale infrastructure policy initiatives. As a lecturer and tutor, Jim has guided aspiring communicators through RMIT University's Bachelor of Communications undergraduate and Master's degree courses. Jim is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

Nathan Clarke

Nathan is Practice Director in Six O'Clock's Melbourne office. He provides communication counsel to a portfolio of clients within the commercial property, financial services, capital markets and sport sectors. Nathan has built strong credentials in public policy, communication and stakeholder engagement, having led the government relations and corporate affairs functions for a national peak body in the health sector and served as a political adviser for a Federal Government minister. Nathan began his career at a leading information technology developer after completing degrees in economics and international relations at Lancaster and Latrobe universities.

Patrick O'Beirne

Patrick began his career managing international media's interest in the Australian cricket team before moving into the telecommunications sector. During eight years at Australia's largest telco, Telstra, Patrick led federal, state and local government relations campaigns and worked on a range of high profile public policy initiatives and issues, as well as thought leadership programs. He was also a company spokesperson. Since moving agency-side in 2011, Patrick has advised a long list of c-suite executives through complex communications matters and built stakeholder engagement programs for major business strategy initiatives. Patrick serves on the board of respected journalistic institution, the Melbourne Press Club.

Paul Clifford

Paul specialises in the development, protection and enhancement of corporate reputation. He has experience in advising businesses on cross-border transactions, crisis scenarios and regulatory matters and possesses an innate understanding of what makes a good story. At Six O'Clock, Paul advises clients in sectors including capital markets, sport, healthcare, construction, energy and financial services.

Sam Sinclair

Prior to Six O'Clock, Sam provided investor relations and financial communication counsel to some of Australia's most innovative ASX-listed technology, biopharma and life sciences companies. Siobhan Gleeson

Prior to joining Six O'Clock, Sonia managed the office and administration functions of the Australian arm of a leading multinational 3D technology company, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the local team and providing executive support to the Managing Director. Earlier in her career, she held office administration roles with Melbourne Water and Australian Unity, where she went on to lead the marketing services function.
