Ali is currently on leave of absence.
Ali assists finance institutions, investors/managers, bond trustees and borrowers on a regular basis in connection with financing transaction and restructuring. He is frequently involved in and has extensive experience with asset financing, such as conventional vessels ships, offshore vessels, rigs and real estate. Ali also assists clients on a regular basis in connection with financing of other offshore activities, acquisitions, green financing and other projects and assets.
His work extends to structuring loan transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts, hereunder loan, bond and security documentation, for bilateral as well as syndicated financing (including export financing). A significant portion of the transactions in which Ali is involved in have an international/cross border element. Ali has also experience with Corporate Law, M&A and Contract Law.
Prior to joining Schjødt in 2017, Ali worked as shipbroker for R.S. Platou (now Clarkson Platou) in Singapore and as an associate in Kluge's Energy group. He has also acted as litigator on behalf of the Attorney General's Office.

Alice Thomas is an English law qualified lawyer based in London (qualified September 2006) specialising in asset finance. Andrea has worked in Schjødt since 2017, apart from a 20 months period where she worked as a deputy judge in the District Court. During her time as a deputy judge, Andrea administrated several cases in both civil and criminal law. She also worked as a court mediator.
Prior to joining Schjødt, Andrea worked as a caseworker at Jusshjelpa i Nord-Norge. She also was an intern at the Brønnøysund Register Centre as well as with another law firm.

Andreas is partner in Schjødt's Dispute Resolution department. His primary focus is disputes in commercial contracts, with an expertise in contract law and related areas. He frequently represents clients in large and complex disputes before both ordinary courts and arbitration - and in negotiations to avoid such disputes.
His extensive experience includes matters and disputes within areas of work such as post M&A, shipping, shipbuilding, E&P oil and gas, onshore and offshore construction, insurance and fishery/aquaculture.
Andreas has been engaged as a speaker and is co-author to a book concerning onshore and offshore construction.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University in Tromsø, where he graduated in 2013. He has been a lawyer in Schjødt since then, except for a period seconded as Legal Counsel for a leading company within the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors.

Ane specialises in IT- and technology contracts, data protection and intellectual property. Her experience includes advising, drafting and implementing data protection measures, risk assessments, and providing guidance on data breaches.
Ane joined the firm in 2023. Prior to joining Schjødt, she worked in the law firm Føyen and also had a 18-month secondment in the legal department of Avinor Air Navigation Services. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bergen. The subject of her master thesis was identifying responsibility for personal data on a blockchain. Annina Luterbacher specializes in compliance and risk management matters, particularly in relation to anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, trade sanctions, sustainability and corporate criminal liability. She has considerable experience assisting clients in transaction-related due diligence as well as with the implementation of corporate compliance programs, crisis management, internal investigations and enforcement matters. She also frequently advises clients on regulatory requirements related to ESG reporting and the Norwegian Transparency Act, including the implementation of due diligence in line with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
Before joining Schjødt, Annina was co-head of the compliance and risk management team at Advokatfirmaet BAHR AS. She also has experience from part-time in-house positions in the banking and renewables sector. Annina is admitted to the bar in Switzerland (2017) and Norway (2021). In Switzerland, Annina worked at the Swiss Financial Supervisory Authority FINMA, the local prosecutor's office in Zurich, the City Police of Zurich and was a member of the white-collar crime and compliance group at corporate law firm Schellenberg Wittmer AG.
