Adrian is a Partner and Head of the Corporate department. Adrian advises a range of clients from owner managed businesses to large corporate clients on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, management buy outs and other corporate finance transactions.
Adrian advises both investors and investee companies on a range of private equity transactions and fund raising.
Adrian also advises clients on restructuring and has experience in corporate recovery and distressed business transactions.

Amanda is nationally recognised as a leading healthcare lawyer. She works regularly with Chief Executives, Heads of Departments and the Boards of major NHS Trusts. Amanda is also highly respected for her knowledge of Primary Care, where her advice is sought-after by GPs and dentists across the country.
Experience:
She advises NHS organisations on the legal aspects of the key strategic issues they currently face including new models of care structures, as well as underlying governance, structural, commercial and charitable issues;
Amanda provides training to Trust Boards on governance issues and is often asked to sit on steering groups for large scale projects within NHS Trusts;
Amanda is a regular speaker at national healthcare conferences and leads seminars and workshops. She has also written numerous articles published in healthcare industry publications;
She is a former Chair (2012-14) of the Association of Specialist Providers to Dentists (ASPD) and currently is Secretary of the National Association of Specialist Solicitors Advising Doctors (NASSAD);
Amanda also has a speciality in charitable matters where she advises both independent health related charities (and those linked to NHS Trusts. Amanda's ability to forge long term relationships with NHS clients and build their trust is testament to her years of experience and her approachable and caring personality;
Elsewhere, Amanda is a trustee of the Hadrian Trust;
Amanda has been listed as a "leading individual" for Healthcare by the Legal 500 since 2015, the Healthcare team was described as being "a true leader in the healthcare field." The guide says "Amanda Maskery is at the top of her field in the GP and Dental sectors."
Amanda was been praised as being a ‘notable practitioner' in the Chambers UK Guides since 2017 and "recognised as a leading specialist in the dental and GP sectors." She was also described as being "an outstanding solicitor who has a very strong reputation for both dental and GP work," and is further praised for being "very approachable, helpful and quick to respond." Her recent work includes advising on partner exits and practice mergers.
Angus is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution department.
He advises on a broad range of disputes for businesses and individuals, he also assists the debt collection team with high value complex litigation matters that arise during the course of volume collections.
Anna is a partner in the Personal & Family Department and heads up the Residential Conveyancing Team.
Experience:
Anna studied Law at the University of Northumbria and has spent her whole career working in Newcastle.
She has many years of experience representing private individuals and property investors both regionally and nationwide.
She specialises in high value property matters and has built a client base on recommendations from her existing clients as well as those recommended by agents in Newcastle and London.

Charles joined Sintons in September 2022 as a trainee solicitor in the Corporate department.
Experience:
Charles studied Linguistics and Spanish for his undergraduate degree and has a Masters' degree in Professional Translation of European Languages from Newcastle University
He then completed the GDL and LPC at Northumbria University
Charles undertook several professional roles using skills gained from his degrees whilst studying at University
Outside of work, Charles spends his free time playing sports- namely tennis and football. He has also recently began learning to play golf.
Chloe joined Sintons in March 2024 is a Trainee Legal Executive in the Family Team.
Experience:
Since leaving Sixth Form College, Chloe has worked in the legal profession
She has worked specifically in Family Law since February 2017 and has dealt with cases including Divorce, Financial and Private Law children matters
Chloe is a Paralegal Member of Cilex and currently enrolled on the CPQ Advanced Stage programme to become a Legal Executive
Outside of work, Chloe is a Newcastle United fan and tries to go to as many home and away matches as possible. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Christopher is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Department. He is an experienced commercial lawyer who advises on a full range of commercial and corporate transactions. Chris was appointed managing partner in August 2020.

Christopher has a particular expertise in the Healthcare and Leisure Sectors
He also deals with complex tax-driven corporate restructurings usually involving substantial value trading groups often allied to refinancing transactions
Christopher is the firm's representative of International Jurists - a global network of commercial lawyers

Prior to Claire returning to Sintons in June 2024 as Director of Operations, she worked at Grainger Plc, a FTSE 250 company, as their Head of HR Business Partnering and Transformation. Her experience prior to that was as Head of People Services at Sintons and Director of HR at a regional law firm, and prior to that she worked in various HR roles at John Lewis.

Claire is a Chartered Fellow member of the CIPD. She has supported a number of different volunteering roles, such as the local CIPD Committee, a school governor, Career Ready UK and the North East Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, and is currently a member of the North East Working Talent (NEWT) Committee
Claire is an accredited PRINT coach and a Mental Health First Aider
In Claire's role as Director of Operations, she will support the firm to deliver an outstanding service to our clients, while remaining true to our values: Teamwork, Excellent Client Services, Professionalism and Our People
In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and friends, holidaying in Greece and, by contrast, spending weekends in the Yorkshire Dales. She is also a self-confessed shopaholic!

Ewan is a Senior Associate in the neurotrauma team at Sintons. He joined the firm in July 2024.
Ewan qualified as a Solicitor in 2017 and his career has been focussed on helping clients with life changing injuries, primarily those with brain injuries. He has extensive experience in serious injury cases, particularly where clients require a large multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team, and he enjoys helping to facilitate these through the claim and mapping out a client's journey to recovery.
Ewan's past clients have commented that he is caring, hard-working and responsive.
Experience:
Ewan has over 10 years' experience in the serious injury field
He is an accredited "Senior Litigator" and "Brain Injury" specialist with APIL in recognition of his skills and experiences in personal injury and brain injury litigation
Ewan has mainly worked on cases where damages exceed £1million but is equally adept in working on moderate brain injury claims, where there can be causation issues
Ewan is experienced in taking over cases from other firms. Ewan works carefully and tenaciously in building a rapport with clients and understanding their goals
Ewan has been a trustee with Headway Rotherham since 2020 and has been its Chair since 2021. Headway Rotherham are a charity catering for brain injury survivors in the Rotherham locality
Ewan is the joint coordinator for the APIL Yorkshire Region Group, facilitating seminars and webinars to fellow APIL peers in the Yorkshire region
During the pandemic, Ewan was inspired to create his own Youtube programme designed for brain injury survivors, interviewing those in the brain injury world and deliver it in an approachable manner
Ewan has experience in delivering presentations to clinicians in the brain injury world, as well as to colleagues in-house. In addition, Ewan has written articles for the Brain Injury Group such as "can you get an eating disorder from a brain injury?" Ewan is ranked in the Chambers and Partners guide in 2024 as an "Associate to watch". It was further commented in that guide: "He is thoroughly professional and works very hard to achieve success for his client".
Outside of his work and trustee duties, Ewan enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughters. Ewan enjoys running when he can and he loves football. Whilst Ewan doesn't play football as much as he once did, he does make time to have a season ticket at Sheffield United, which isn't for the faint-hearted but is "character building" in his eyes.
