Adedotun Adesina, Senior Consultant | Ethnic Diversity Network Lead | London
Alex has over twenty years experience working in the Insurance sector and heads the Baringa Insurance practice. During this time Alex has initiated, managed and delivered IT, organisation and process change for major blue-chip Financial Services clients, working on programmes covering; operating model design, process re-engineering, organisation change, IT implementation and regulatory change, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver tangible benefits.
Away from client delivery Alex is passionate about maintaining and developing the Baringa culture and has taken an active leadership role in various people and CSR initiatives. Alex is currently the sponsor for Baringa's Diversity and Inclusion Programme, Balance.
Outside of work Alex is married with four young children who are the focus of most of his spare time, but when not at the park, Alex enjoys taking part in 'very amateur' motor racing (racing the Caterham he built himself) and has recently acquired a pilot's license.
Andrew joined the leadership team of Baringa Partners in 2001, and has played a key role in its sustained growth. He has over 15 years experience in consulting, spanning both the wholesale and supply side of the energy industry, as well as experience in financial markets. He has extensive hands on experience of managing the full systems integration lifecycle, for both custom build and vendor package implementations, and as such is highly valued for practical and honest advice on all types of delivery and QA engagements. He has broad experience of helping senior stakeholders confront a variety of difficult business challenges and is well respected for his ability to bring clarity and focus to a business challenge, such that a clear direction can be established.
Within Energy and Utilities, Andrew has delivered significant projects for a number of our key clients, including Centrica, EDF Energy and E.On UK, working with these clients to deliver business change underpinned by improved systems, processes and data. More recently, he has played a leading role in developing Baringa Partners' offerings relating to Smart Metering, and worked with key client stakeholders to help them understand how their businesses will respond to the challenges Smart will bring.
Andrew has also supported the growth of Baringa Partners into Financial Services, and has been responsible for transferring Baringa Partners' expertise in delivering energy trading systems into key clients within the financial industry. Internally Andrew takes a lead role for the finance and operations function, which provides the core services and policies on which Baringa Partners operates.
Andrew lives in Putney with his wife and four children. He is a keen sailor, racing keelboats at club and national level, when family life allows.

Chris joined Baringa in February 2019 as a Director in our Pharmaceutical and Lifesciences Practice. Chris brings over 15 years consulting experience in helping his clients to structure and run more effective businesses in areas from drug development through to post approval market access. He has collaborated with a wide range of clients to help guide them through the shifting regulatory environment, in particular around Quality Management Systems within drug development, and the constantly evolving clinical and pharmacovigilance regulations.
Chris believes strongly that any company can only transform by engaging its people at all levels, so that they can be a part of designing the future, embrace the change and become champions for the new ways of working. He is passionate about sharing his experiences in people led transformation with his clients so that he can help them to achieve outcomes that are sustainable and embed capabilities that allow them to continue improving in the future.
Through these projects, Chris has gained experience of implementing Pharma and Life Sciences related software services, such as Veeva and Casewise, using their cloud based platforms for Quality Management and BPM.
Chris lives in Northumberland with his family, and in his free time is kept very busy by his two young children, taking them to various classes and activities or just being out exploring Northumberland's fantastic beaches and countryside. If time permits he tries to fit in some sport, be it playing golf or watching anything from football to horse racing.
David leads Baringa's Data Analytics and AI practice, helping clients harness their data to unlock actionable insight.
David started his career in 1999 as a strategy consultant, developing his specialism in analytics from 2005 onwards as the need to gather, organise and dissect large volumes of data became ever more important to address his clients' most pressing questions.
As such, David has tackled just about every challenge faced in the pursuit of better insight; helping clients improve data quality; embed enterprise-wide data governance; comply with data privacy regulations; integrate disparate data sets from ‘big' to spreadsheet-small; structure data models for analysis; build and host dashboards; deploy advanced modelling techniques and machine learning; design and establish analytics operating models; and - most importantly - distilling analysis into easily understood messages.
David has supported FTSE 100 and global organisations, and also worked with many professional and Olympic sports teams - helping them to drive high performance through data.
Outside of work David is a father to three daughters and doting husband. He is a fanatical surfer and snowboarder, a retired footballer and creaking cricketer.
David has been working as a Financial Services Management Consultant with since 2001 and joined Baringa in 2007, at the inception of the Financial Services practice. David has had a unique experience of growing and developing multiple aspects of Baringa's highly successful business, including our award winning People and Culture agenda. David now focuses his time leading and building Baringa's Banking Practice, leveraging his expertise across Retail, Business Banking, Corporate Banking and Wealth and Asset Management.
He has worked across a range of small and large scale Transformational Programmes and Projects and has developed deep Programme Management and Delivery, Target Operating Model, Process Design, Organisational and Change skills and capabilities. David is passionate about helping address some of the industry's most interesting and complex challenges and aims to build the best Banking consulting business in the industry, with the brightest minds.
Outside of work David loves being a Dad to his family and following his love of sport.
Guy joined Baringa as a Partner in January 2015. He leads our Telecoms and Media practice and brings over 20 years' experience of helping his clients on their most complex business and technology programmes. His Telecoms and Media clients span fixed line, cable, mobile, broadcast and regulator as well as many of the IT service providers to the sector.
Guy works most frequently at C-level and with the Transformation Director community helping them deliver real value through their strategic programmes - reducing their cost base, re-designing their operating model and processes to serve their customers better, shaping and delivering technology programmes to deliver hard benefits, and delivering synergy benefits post merger or acquisition. In addition, he regularly finds himself helping his clients work with their Systems Integrators to get the best value from them and helping them deliver effectively.
Outside of work Guy is married to Shadi and has twin boys that keep him busy. He is a sports fan with a love of rugby, skiing, golf and more recently triathlon and can often be found cycling around the Surrey hills.

Kate joined Baringa as a Partner in April 2019 to lead our Pharmaceuticals and Lifesciences practice. She brings with her over 30 years of Industry experience and a strong mix of advisory and delivery skills. She has lived and worked internationally as the industry has undergone significant disruption enabling her to advise her senior clients through challenging, diverse situations.
Kate has led numerous business strategy, performance improvement and change management projects across R&D, Medical Affairs and Market Access. She's well known for helping clients deliver challenging and complex multi-year efforts, defining radically different operating models and breaking down siloes to create a collaborative culture across the value chain.
Kate knows the importance of staying current and is a business mentor to a selection of start-ups harnessing new technologies, data and innovation in the products and services they're developing. The insight she gains helps her navigate the development and implementation of new technologies to enhance business outcomes.
Outside of work Kate is energised by nature and the environment which is a little at odds with her favourite sport of waterskiing. As a result she's learning to sail and windsurf with the help of her husband and son. She lives near Cambridge and enjoys nothing more than wandering the streets of this beautiful city or along the sandy beaches of the nearby North Norfolk coast.
Katharine recently joined Baringa Partners from one of the big four consultancies in 2016, to focus on building out the Life and Pensions (L&P) practice. She brings a wealth of both operational and delivery experience having spent the last 18 years working across the insurance sector (L&P and General Insurance) in a range of senior delivery and executive roles.
Katharine's early experience working for a global insurer allowed her to build a deep understanding across distribution, proposition development, operations and IT. Since moving into consulting in 2000, she now helps clients initiate and deliver their complex change programmes reporting directly to the board and the regulator. Her areas of specialism include; business transformation, operating model design, regulatory initiatives, operational improvement and large systems development and integration. Over the last couple of years, Katharine has held a number of interim Executive positions, which has deepened her understanding of the real business challenges faced and how organisations such as Baringa can help.
Outside of work, Katharine can be found, (in good weather) horse-riding, running or cycling around her native North Yorkshire.
Koen joined Baringa Partners in 2016 to help build out and lead the Consumer Products and Retail practice. He has more than 24 years of experience in the consulting industry working with a broad range of clients in consumer products and retail across the globe. His experience enables him to play a pivotal and senior role in diverse situations, typically in helping his clients deliver their transformation ambitions. He is highly valued for guiding his clients through the different stages of journeys from strategy through planning and piloting to industrialisation and evaluation.
In recent years, Koen has found himself helping his clients translate their vision and goals into strategic programs and managing them through to successful delivery.
Koen brings a high amount of energy and excitement to everything he does. He is passionate about working with and developing people, collaborating in powerful teams, sharing the sense of purpose, staying true to strong values and doing this while having fun on the journey.
Koen is married to Rosa and they have two boys for whom he spends most weekends on the side-lines of rugby and hockey pitches and tennis courts. In his remaining free time, he enjoys golf, spending time with friends, and hosting dinner parties.

Lucy joined the Consumer Products and Retail practice at Baringa in December 2017, bringing with her more than 20 years of Retail Consulting and Supply Chain experience. Her expertise is in end to end Retail Transformation, from Product Design/ Development, Buying & Merchandising, through to Forecasting, Replenishment and Fulfilment. She has worked across the Clothing, Grocery and Hardlines sectors.
Over the last five years Lucy's focus has been on helping clients adapt to the challenges of the digital era. She has worked with retailers and consumer products companies to implement market leading Digital Supply Chains, and evolve their Merchandising and Inventory Management to deliver a customer experience which works in the new world. She also works closely with industry related start ups, helping her clients to connect with and drive value from innovative new partnerships.
Lucy lives in Windsor with her husband, two boys, and two spaniels. When she is not working or spending time with her family, Lucy enjoys cycling and the occasional triathlon.
Mansi has joined Baringa Partners to expand and develop the media focus of our Telecoms and Media practice. She brings with her a strong mix of advisory and delivery skills across the two sectors, and her international experience over the last 16 years in sectors which have undergone significant disruption enables her to advise her senior clients through challenging, diverse situations.
During this time Mansi has initiated, managed and delivered customer and digital transformation, multi-programme technology delivery, project assurance and cloud application strategy for global media and telecommunication clients working on programmes covering; customer strategy and user journey definition, operating model design, process re-engineering, organisation change and technology implementation.
Outside of work, Mansi enjoys embracing new cultures though seeing as much of the world as possible, is a big fan of nature and can often be found hiking in national parks or remote destinations, tinkers around with the latest gadgets, and enjoys supporting local art events in St. Albans.
Oliver is a Partner in Baringa's Energy Advisory practice. He has over 20 years' experience in the European energy sector, and works with clients across a broad range of areas including risk policy and measurement, regulation and trading arrangements, market and energy system modelling, and asset valuation. He started his career at Shell, where he worked on the development of gas storage facilities in the Netherlands, before joining Caminus, a leading UK-based strategic energy consultancy.
Following a period in New York working on energy trading and risk management software systems, he returned to London and co-founded Redpoint Energy in 2004 now merged successfully with Baringa Partners. Oliver's clients include DECC, Ofgem, the Energy Technologies Institute, oil majors, storage developers, and utilities.
Oliver's key areas of specialism include: European electricity and gas markets; energy policy and regulation; market design and trading arrangements; investment valuation analysis; risk governance and policy; energy trading and risk management; and energy system modelling.
Oliver enjoys exploring the British countryside with his family, fondly recalls the days when he could claim to run marathons, and still pays the occasional visit to a climbing wall.
Oliver is a Partner in our financial services practice and joined Baringa in 2012, with a focus on developing Baringa's consulting business in the German-speaking market, particularly within financial services and capital markets. After focusing initially on the financial services sector in Austria, Switzerland and Germany (ASG), Oliver became the Lead Partner of Baringa's ASG practice in April 2013.
He has over twenty years' experience in financial services, having spent more than fifteen years in capital markets. Oliver started his consulting career at a major international consultancy, where he managed several large transformation projects at many of Europe's leading investment banks and financial institutions. Oliver has also worked as an internal IT account manager for the equities derivatives desk of a German Private Bank.
Oliver's deep expertise and knowledge ranges from the design and realisation of investment banking processes and operating models to the definition, implementation and roll-out of trading architectures, using market-leading software products such as Murex (MxG2000 & MX.3), Summit (Classic & FT), Calypso, FIS Quantum. Oliver's process knowledge in capital markets ranges from front-to-back office to accounting, and his product expertise covers all major asset classes. Furthermore, he has managed several projects in the field of financial markets regulation (Dodd Frank, EMIR, MiFID II / MiFIR, MAD/MAR).
Oliver holds a Diploma in Business Administration from University of Mannheim, Germany. In his free time, he enjoys many sports, such as golf, skiing, hiking, climbing and water sports, and spending quality time with his wife and two teenage daughters.
Paul has worked in the Insurance and Consulting sector throughout his 17 year professional career and joined the Financial Services practice within Baringa Partners in 2011 with a remit to grow the Insurance capability. He has worked for a large majority of the major UK insurers during his career on a variety of projects across General Insurance, Life and Pensions and the London Market. Paul specialises in operational transformation and programme delivery and has considerable experience of developing and implementing business and operational strategy.
Paul was attracted to the Baringa culture of putting the client first and the focus on the employee after spending over 12 years working with large FS consultancies and is looking forward to helping develop and grow a practice which already feels like a really ' great place to work.'
Paul has been supported throughout his career by a brilliant network of colleagues and friends and a very supportive and understanding family. Paul is married with three fantastic and energetic young children, loves all sports, both playing and watching and still secretly believes it is only a matter of time before Manchester United come calling .
Rob leads our People and Process Excellence (PPE) practice and joined the PPE leadership team in 2013 to support the growth of the business with new Lean, Automation and Agile client offerings. He has twenty years of experience in the consulting industry and works with a broad range of Energy, Utility and Financial Services clients. Rob specialises in the design, development and implementation of Operational Excellence and Automation programmes at all levels, ranging from individual teams or processes, through to companywide initiatives that span geographies and business units.
Rob has deep expertise in end to end value stream transformation, team based operational performance improvement, and creating new, sustainable operational cultures based on agile and system thinking based methodologies. He works with senior leaders, operational leadership teams and front line staff to help them achieve strategic goals around customer service and satisfaction, revenue growth, cost reduction and cash release and has a proven track record of delivering sustainable, self-sufficient change at all levels of an organisation.
Rob brings passion and a focused, highly personable approach to his client engagements.Outside of work Rob lives in Twickenham and is a keen cyclist and Chelsea fan. He enjoys cooking and heading off travelling around Italy or the South of France.
Vanessa joined Baringa in 2012, bringing a wealth of consulting and industry experience, specifically in the field of customer experience. Vanessa has spent approximately 20 years helping organisations understand, target and optimise the experience and service they provide to their customers. In industry Vanessa has held senior management roles leading customer facing operations, so understands the challenges and practicalities of driving improvements.
Vanessa works with a number of our energy and utility clients, helping them shape and deliver programmes to ‘right size' and improve the service they provide to their customers. Whilst the majority of her career has been spent in the energy and utility sectors she has also worked with some of our financial services clients and been an advisor to the government and health sectors. With such a well-established career in this field, Vanessa is a sought after commentator, presenter and speaker at events and conferences and a well-regarded judge for a number of customer service, customer experience and digital experience awards.
When Vanessa is not obsessing about customers, she enjoys being outdoors. As a keen sailor and horse rider Vanessa is used to braving the elements on a weekend, if only to then enjoy the respite of the office during the week!
