Adam Cairns

Job Titles:
  • Planner
After studying Human Geography at the University of Edinburgh from 2011-2016, Adam graduated from the University of Glasgow in City Planning in 2019, before working in a mix of public and private sector roles for several years. In 2022, Adam achieved his chartership as a Planner (MRTPI) and recently joined Keppie in 2023. Having predominately worked in a development management role within a local authority, Adam brings a wealth of knowledge on a wide range of projects: residential, hotel developments, industrial schemes and listed building alterations. In his spare time, Adam enjoys travelling, Djing, squash and relaxing in the sauna/steam room.

Alison Bell

Job Titles:
  • Financial Accountant
Alison studied at the University of Paisley, graduating with a Bachelor of Accounting in 1995 and has been working with Keppie since 2001. Her role at Keppie has developed over the years, currently working in project accounting, sales invoicing, payroll and monthly management accounts. Alison's passions in life are her dog Ruby and food, plenty of good walks in the countryside and visiting food festivals when possible.

Amy Ross

Job Titles:
  • Architectural Assistant Part 1
Amy started her work as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in 2023 after completing her third year at the University of Strathclyde. Throughout her time studying she utilised her artistic side and developed a love for hand-drawing. She completed her full undergraduate thesis project through hand-drawing and water colour painting. In her spare time Amy is usually found reading a good book or drawing realistic portraits. She also spends a lot of time in the gym pushing for a new PR or working out with her Dad.

Andrew Mackie

Andrew Strachan

Job Titles:
  • Planner
Originally from Edinburgh, Andrew studied at the University of Glasgow, before working in England for several years. Andrew joined Keppie in 2019, and has recently achieved his Chartership as a Town Planner (MRTPI). Gaining more than two years of planning experience in Manchester, Andrew brings knowledge of a broad range of projects. Focusing mainly on residential, he also has assisted on hotel schemes, commercial-industrial and both city centre and out-of-centre retail developments. At Keppie, Andrew advises on new care units for the NHS in Scotland, commercial redevelopment schemes in England and Scotland and Hotel developments, as well as working with clients on land promotion for future residential proposals.

Andy Jack

Job Titles:
  • Architect
Andy studied architecture at the Macintosh School of Architecture, he started our working in social housing, before doing some work in healthcare, retrofit and contemporary private housing. Andy appreciates travelling to new places, always curious about what a settlement says about its people. Andy studied up to masters level, doing a written masters on the role of building in early settled society and art, and how this understanding can illuminate present building practices. He is confident developing ideas in the concept design stage, using analysis, sketching and simulation to inform key design moves. He had the privilege of doing independent commissions in lockdown, including the design of a modular eco house in Edinburgh. He is committed to ecologically smart, forward thinking design. He has avidly kept sketchbooks since a teenager, which help him record his sporadic creative thoughts.

Annabel Stewart

Job Titles:
  • Architectural Technologist
Annabel started at Keppie as a student in 2018 and went on to graduate from Edinburgh Napier University in 2019 with an Honours degree in Architectural Technology. Annabel assists in the delivery of projects, with experience in large scale leisure and office facilities. Annabel played an active role in the TECA team which completed in August 2019. Annabel's most recent role is within the team for a high profile office development in Glasgow city centre. Annabel has a keen interest in fashion and finding ways to avoid fast fashion trends. She loves to discover new places and immersing herself in local culture while on her travels.

Archie Prince

Job Titles:
  • ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT
Archie is a returning Part 2 Architectural Assistant after completing his Part 1 at Keppie. Prior to this he studied a HND in architectural Technology at City of Glasgow college before going on to do Architectural Studies at University of Strathclyde. Archie has been heavily involved in the creation of our in-house 3D printed models across all sectors of work. Archie enjoys spending time with his friends and family, walking with his dog, Harris, and playing and coaching football for his local team BSC Glasgow. Oh, and his middle name is Mervyn.
