Windows automatically does this in Windows 10, To stop windows updating and restarting your computer at times you usually use it go into the start menu, click settings, update and security. Click change active hours and set the times you normally use it so the PC will not restart at these times. When not in use, leave your PC switched on and it should be updated when you go back to it.
