Henrietta Hodgkiss

Henrietta is a History graduate from Nottingham University. Her business career started within the Company Secretary's Office of Asprey plc. She completed a company secretarial qualification before deciding to move into company secretarial recruitment. Henrietta brings a wealth of knowledge of the company secretarial world and has nearly 20 years' of experience working on recruitment projects with governance teams in all sectors. More recently, Henrietta has moved into an operational role and has been working alongside Jon on building the business with increasing involvement in staff training and development and finance matters. With the company's move to employee ownership, Henrietta has joined the board as Director of Operations and is also using her past experience as the company's Company Secretary. In her spare time, Henrietta enjoys relaxing with her family and friends, walking her dog, or attending a Pilates or EMS class.

Henry Rymer

After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Management, Henry travelled for eight months before settling in London. Kicking off his career in sales, Henry developed his account management and negotiation skills before moving into the world of recruitment at Robert Walters and developed a keen interest in corporate governance. Keen to join an established company secretarial recruitment specialist, Henry later moved to The Core Partnership. With Company Secretaries at the helm of decision making, trusted advisers to the board, who are seen with increasing importance in navigating an organisation to make socially responsible decisions, he has seen the function grow across all industries and he has recruited at all levels including Group Company Secretaries of major FTSEs and senior corporate governance professionals across all sectors. Henry's drive to go above and beyond for clients and candidates has been recognised in the market and he has particularly enjoyed his involvement in marketing events for the Chartered Governance Institute. Now with over 5 years' experience in this market, and progressing to the Board as a Director following the move to employee ownership, he is dedicated in lifting the profile of governance professionals across the market. Outside of work, Henry enjoys exploring the outdoors; from fishing and hiking, to playing and watching sports. On occasion, he can also be found DJing across London!

Kelly Gardin

Kelly graduated from the University of Birmingham in Modern Languages and Business Management, and after spending a year in Madrid teaching English and meeting new people, realised a great way to maintain her communication and relationship-building skills was to pursue a career in recruitment. Kick-starting her recruitment career in a different niche market, Kelly was keen to move into a sector which she had a more of a passion for. The business management aspect of her degree led to her interest in corporate governance and she has greatly enjoyed immersing herself in this specialist market. Outside of work, being Italian and having a chef for a father, Kelly loves fine food and wine and sampling new cuisines. She also has a passion for running and swimming. As a language and culture enthusiast with a huge passion for travel, Kelly loves to go for breaks all over Europe with her friends and explore new places.

Laura Wattiau

After graduating from the University of Kent with a degree in French and Hispanic Studies, Laura moved to the vibrant city of Madrid where she worked for three years before coming back to the UK in 2020. Wanting to pursue a career in recruitment, she gained experience working for a generalist recruitment agency where she worked on mix of temporary and permanent roles. Keen to develop as a specialist, Laura has quickly adapted to this niche market and has already recruited to positions at all levels and across all sectors. Having grown up in the French West Indies and being half Belgian, Laura has a love of languages and travel. Living and working in central London has always been an ambition of hers, and outside of work she can be found in the many museums and rooftop bars the city has to offer!

Lucy Packer

After graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Ancient History, Theology & Religious Studies, Lucy volunteered with a Mental Health charity which greatly developed her communication skills as she was interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds. Following this role, she knew she wanted to work in a similar people-based environment which gives exposure to a diverse range of people; recruitment was therefore a logical path for her to take. Lucy joined The Core Partnership in August 2021, initially as a Researcher and is now a Recruitment partner with a specific focus on the junior-mid senior level, particularly within the not-for-profit sector. As an avid baker-with an incredibly sweet-tooth- Lucy spends a lot of her free time baking and coming up with new recipes. Alongside getting creative in the kitchen, Lucy loves doing Pilates and making cocktails with her friends.

Mariza Dimaki

Having studied Psychology at the University of Sheffield, Mariza's interest in people led her naturally to pursue a career within recruitment and The Core Partnership ticked all of her boxes, as a values-driven recruitment consultancy with a collaborative culture. Initially, joining as a Researcher, Mariza gained an in-depth knowledge and understanding of this niche market, quickly progressing to become Recruitment Partner and later joining the Board as a Director, following the company's move to employee ownership. With nearly 10 years' experience and having developed The Core Partnership's interim desk, as well as successfully placing candidates at all levels within Charity and Not-For-Profit organisations, she is now working with major FTSE companies, complex private limited groups and leading consultancies. Mariza enjoys the challenge that the fast-paced nature of this market provides and staying in regular contact with the full network of Company Secretarial and Governance professionals. Her empathetic and insightful approach and commitment to matching the right person with the right role have secured her a position as a leading expert in this niche market. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and an Affiliate of the Chartered Governance Institute, with a keen interest in ED&I and gender equality in the workplace. In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her rescue dog, Dexter, spending quality time with her family and catching up with friends. You might also find her sampling what the culinary scene in London has to offer, perhaps before a night at the theatre.

Nathan Brook

Whilst completing his MSc Environmental Governance masters from the University of Manchester, Nathan began to develop a keen interest in ESG and the governance sector. Eager to pursue these interests further, and having enjoyed working in a range of customer-facing roles, Nathan wanted to gain exposure working with a diverse range of people and undertake complex problem-solving. Therefore, recruitment within the increasingly important Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial sector seemed the most fitting path to take. Nathan joined The Core Partnership in February 2023, initially as a Researcher to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market and develop his relationship management skills, and is on his way to becoming a Recruitment Partner. Outside of work, Nathan is an avid cook, spending lots of his free time in the kitchen cooking up some new recipes, or trying out new cuisines at restaurants around London. Beyond this, Nathan loves getting out into nature, frequently going climbing and hiking, as well as practising Muay Thai or playing basketball.
