Antonia Brinded

Antonia Brinded is founder and managing director of SWP Ltd. She has a degree in Economics, a Diploma in Financial Planning, and is a qualified affiliated member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Antonia is an expert in Inheritance Tax Calculation and Planning, Trusts, Long Term Care Planning and Probate Administration and Wills.

Elaine Hallatt

Job Titles:
  • Trustee of the Charity Spirit
As a registered nurse in Portsmouth for nearly two decades, Elaine specialised in Intensive care and diabetes research. Elaine understands the care and treatment paths of many of our clients and end of life journeys. After living in the USA for three years Elaine returned and joined SWP Ltd. She is fully qualified in Estate Administration, Trusts and inheritance tax, advising vulnerable clients and Wills. Elaine is a trustee of the charity Spirit in Sport and a member of her PCC. Married, with a son, she enjoys watersports, from her beach hut at Southsea. A keen walker, she can be found hiking on the South Downs or ski-ing on the Alps.

Julie Hicks

Julie joined our team in the summer of 2022 and has become an invaluable part SWP Ltd. Her wealth of experience in business and legal administration comes from her time in the Portsmouth Registry office, NHS, banking and insurance. Julie has travelled extensively, through Asia, South America and Australasia with her daughter and still loves to explore new places. When not working or adventuring, she makes beautiful cross stitch and knitted clothes.

Marie Potter

Marie Potter Cert PFS retired as a Director of Stewardship Wills and Probate Ltd after more than 30 years experience in the financial and legal sectors. She remains working part time as attorney to many of our clients. Marie has received the Lady Montague Business Woman of the Year Award and has served as a non-executive director of Portsmouth Primary Care Trust, in charge of community involvement and patient care. She still serves as Trustee to a number of charities and is married to Stephen, an Elim Church minister. Marie enjoys travelling, reading, walking her dog and spending time with her ten grandchildren.
