Andrew L'Estrange

Job Titles:

Andrew qualified as a Chartered Certified accountant (ACCA) with a firm in the Brighton area before joining our practice in 2015. Since joining Vista Partners he has also qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA). He has extensive experience working closely with owner-managed businesses, providing advice and support on a range of tax matters, with a focus on corporate tax planning. Outside of work he enjoys staying active, particularly playing football and squash.

Colin Dance

Colin has more than 30 years' accountancy and tax experience and specialises in personal tax issues. He began his career in 1984 at the Inland Revenue before moving into practice in 1987. He subsequently worked for a number of small, local firms before joining Vista Partners in 1996.

Gary Proudlock - Managing Director

Following two years with the Inland Revenue (now HM Revenue & Customs) and two years in industry, Gary joined a seven-partner firm in Dorking where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and progressed to a management role, in which he led a team advising owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals. In the late 1980s, Gary joined Binder Hamlyn, now part of BDO LLP, where he headed a team acting for small and medium-sized businesses and worked on assignments including serious Inland Revenue investigations, corporate reconstructions, management buyouts and corporate sales and acquisitions. Gary joined Alfred Simmons and Co, as Vista Partners was then known, in 1994, and became tax and investment practice partner in 1995 before taking on his current role as managing director.

Susan has extensive experience in working with small and medium-sized enterprises and has particular expertise in advising owner-managed businesses and professional partnerships on a wide range of issues. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA), she leads the audit and accountancy side of our practice. She began her career with a five-partner firm in Chester before relocating to the South East in 1995 and subsequently joining Grant Thornton, from where she joined our firm as a partner in 2003.
