TWI LEAN SOLUTIONS - Key Persons
Elin Hughes has worked in the Semi Conductor, Hygiene & Healthcare and Food industries for the last 20 years. Elin also spent a brief period working in the public sector service industry, returning to manufacturing with Burton's Foods. It was while at Burton's Foods Elin was introduced to TWI.
Elin went to the US to train as a Job Relations trainer and has since had a passion for the use of JR and has a strong belief that it is a sound foundation for the other ‘J' programmes. Elin is now a Director for TWI Lean Solutions Ltd.
Jeff has worked in Environmental analysis, Paper making and coating, Aluminium processing and Food industries with 20 years experience. Jeff began his 15 year lean career at Northern Automotive Systems Ltd as the Site Chemist. He quickly moved up the ranks to become the Technical Development Manager, Engineering Manager and then Business Improvement Manager. In this capacity Jeff worked with Volvo, Daimler-Benz, Jaguar, Aston Martin and Volkswagen.
Jeff developed the CI strategy and a site wide Lean Six Sigma program . He then moved on to Burtons Foods where he worked for 3 years on waste reduction and process stability projects reducing variation and improving workplace organisation as a Continuous Improvement Facilitator. Jeff is now a Director of TWI Lean Solutions Ltd.
