St. Helen's Junior School was built in 1973 to replace the previous school in Ingrave Road, Brentwood. It serves the Catholic parishes of Brentwood and Warley, Ongar and Ingatestone. There are fourteen classrooms, ten in the main building and 4 classrooms in the new block. The school has a dual-purpose hall used for assembly, school Masses and school meals. The hall is well equipped Physical Education activities. There are changing rooms for boys and girls. The administrative area consists of a room for the Head, secretaries, staff, medical room and a well sized meeting room. There is a fully equipped ICT suite which can accommodate 32 pupils, plus 3 full sets of iPads for use in classrooms.
