STAGG ARCHITECTS LIMITED - Key Persons
Ben Stagg is the founding director of Stagg Architects, with over 20 years experience. He studied at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2000, and gaining professional qualification and registration in 2002. Ben is a member of the ARB, RIBA and CABE.
Ben worked for Buschow Henley from 2000 until 2004 where he gained valuable experience in a highly respected award-winning practice. In 2004 Ben helped establish the London office of DLA Architecture, an AJ Top-100 company, where he designed and delivered a number of multi-million pound projects.
In 2011 Ben established Stagg Architects to focus on providing a high quality bespoke architectural service to a range of clients, combining his experience of small design-led projects with his experience of large commercial schemes. Thanks to an exceptional level of loyalty from a number of very special clients Ben has successfully grown the office and now leads a dedicated and experienced team on a diverse range of projects.
Ben has a keen interest in sustainable and low-energy design, both from the perspective of addressing climate change, but also in terms of how this approach can be dovetailed with related benefits, such as improved efficiency, reduced waste, reduced cost, and a more site-responsive design. Ben has completed a full eco retro-fit of his own house and so has first-hand experience of the latest approaches and renewable technologies.
As the principal of Stagg Architects Ben is responsible for the creative direction and management of the office, and is personally involved in all work undertaken from inception to completion.
