Dawn Parkes

Kevin has worked in training and education since leaving school in 1979. He has served in the Royal Air Force, worked as a consultant in a training media company, been a senior lecturer in further and higher education and was for a number of years, an executive in a major defence company, leading the delivery of their training to customers around the world. Kevin has experience of the whole training lifecycle including analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation. He is also experienced in the specification and development of training aids ranging from system emulations to full mission simulators, and is qualified in the development and management of e-learning. He has worked with governments and customers worldwide, and has been awarded Fellowships from both the Institute for Learning and the Institute for Training and Occupational Learning. Jireh Training was founded in 2011 to support the training industry in the aerospace, defence, nuclear and other technical sectors. Our mission is to be recognised as a provider of innovative, high quality training services which meet the demanding needs of our clients. Our guiding principles are to build partnerships with our clients, to support each and every learner, to solve problems using the most effective training solutions, to provide the highest quality in everything we do, to be cost effective and value for money, and most of all to delight our clients in every way.

As well as keeping Kevin's feet on the ground, Dawn's role in the company is to manage all the back-office activities which keep Jireh Training going: things like keeping the accounts, paying the tax, raising invoices, liaising with suppliers and managing client relationships. And if that wasn't enough, in her spare time she's a voluntary support worker helping families in crisis.
