Anne is a qualified chemical engineer who worked within large corporations such as ICI and Babcock Contractors as a process design and development engineer on computer control of chemical plant. After studying for her Masters degree in Computer Management Information Systems, she offered custom computer system design to many industry sectors before founding Eggbase Ltd in 2011. Anne is the owner and Managing Director of Eggbase Ltd.
Marc joins Eggbase as our Senior Developer. He has wide experience of coaching and leading software development teams and will bring extensive full-stack knowledge to bear as we move forward with the eggSense data visualisation and analytics platform. He is excited about working in the agri-IT space.
Nadine started work as a farm hand on a large scale egg laying farm before quickly being promoted to Technical Manager. She then joined NSF as an audit Operations Manager for pigs and poultry followed by a role as QA Manager and Technical Manager for Noble Foods. When a role with Eggbase Ltd arose, she particularly saw an opportunity to help farmers improve performance monitoring for audit purposes. As the Eggbase Producer Support Manager, Nadine brings a wealth of practical experience to her role in supporting our clients with data analysis.
Nicola graduated in September 2020 with a Masters in Law having studied Environmental Law, International Environmental Law, Perspectives on Environment and Development and Global Change and the Earth System. The knowledge that she brings has facilitated our carbon footprinting and her research skills enable us to maintain our place at the forefront of this vital area.
Nigel comes to Eggbase from a data analyst role at the Forestry Commission and his own digital artistry business. His focus will be ensuring our carbon footprinting processes are as efficient and effective as possible and implementing compelling data visualisations.
Simon is an experienced MS SQL, XML, HTML, CSS and Java developer who has been involved in database design, development and administration for his entire career. Simon is working throughout the business but mainly with our packing clients to automate links with their grading machines and interface with third-party solutions. Simon is the Technical Director of Eggbase Ltd.
Tom joins Eggbase as Director of Strategy & Partnerships with a breadth of insight gleaned from nearly 25 years of experience in food and farming from across the supply chain, from field to retail shelf. Tom's early career was spent in horticulture, but since 2010, Tom has held senior roles in two of the UK's leading egg production and packing companies, Noble Foods and Stonegate Farmers, as well as providing consultancy to retail, pharmaceutical and food manufacturing businesses.
