Alimatu Sesay

Alimatu joined CGA in 2018 as an intern, later becoming a consultant. She currently serves as the Finance and Administration Officer in Sierra Leone responsible for overseeing financial activities and records management. In addition, Alimatu also supports project delivery: she trained school leaders on how to use the SLEAMS app and report attendance for the Sierra Leone Education Attendance Monitoring System (SLEAMS) pilot; provided research assistance for the UNICEF-funded Out of School Children Study; and, supported delivery of the recent Teacher Records Scanning project digitising 30,000 teacher records for the Sierra Leone Teaching Service Commission. Prior to CGA, Alimatu was an Enumerator for BRAC Sierra Leone and Administration Assistant for Decentralization Secretariat. Alimatu has a BSc in Applied Accounting from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone. She also holds a Diploma in International Relations from the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology, Sierra Leone.

Angel Msukwa

Angel Msukwa is a seasoned Procurement, Finance and Administration expert with over 20 years' experience working with DFID, Irish Aid, the EU and on KfW-funded programmes in Malawi. Angel prioritises working in coordination with stakeholders including government departments, other donors and service providers to make sure programs are run in a cost effective manner. He has worked in many sectors including social welfare, health, education, agriculture and construction. He holds a BA in Systems Management, an ACCA Diploma in Accounting, a Certificate in Project Management and a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). Angel joined CGA Technologies in August 2021 and is working as a Procurement Specialist on the Social Cash Transfer Programme Lot 1 (SCTP) providing support and technical assistance to the Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare (MoGCDSW) in Malawi. He is also the Finance & Admin Manager for CGA Technologies in Malawi, overseeing the day-to-day running of office finances, admin and HR issues.

Antony Gummett

Antony joined CGA in 2019 as Financial Controller and is based in London. He has responsibility for day to day organisation-wide management of finance tasks including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, management accounts and the accounts receivable and payable functions. Alongside the Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for ensuring good financial practice throughout the organisation. Prior to working at CGA, Antony spent his career in the Arts and Education sectors, managing financial account teams at the Barbican Centre, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Centre for Young Musicians in London, as well as being on the board of directors of London's Yard Theatre. Antony is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with over ten years of post qualification experience and holds a BA Hons in Business and Economics from the University of Stirling.

Bethsabée Souris

Bethsabée is a Project Director supporting CGA on a variety of projects in Malawi, Mali, and DRC. She has experience in social protection, education, and the design and implementation of systems to support delivery of basic services and cash transfers. Bethsabée leads the design and implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) to support the Malawi Social Cash Transfer Programme, providing cash transfers to the poorest households across all districts in Malawi. She also leads work supporting the Ministries of Education in Mali, DRC and Malawi to roll out digital platforms that collect data on pupils and teachers' attendance in school to improve learning outcomes. With her experience in producing research and analysis for academic purposes and policy-practitioners, Bethsabée has contributed to CGA reports on education, notably on the impact of cash programming for education in emergency and on the consequences of school closures during Covid in South Sudan. She also has experience as an independent consultant writing published reports for advocacy purposes in the European Parliament. Bethsabée also serves as CGA's company-wide Safeguarding Focal Point. Bethsabée holds a PhD in Political Science from University College London (UCL), a MSc in International Public Policy from University College London ( UCL) and Bachelor in Political Science from the Sorbonne University (Paris I).

Daniel V. Speckhard

Daniel V. Speckhard is the president & CEO of Corus International, an ensemble of faith-based organizations including Lutheran World Relief and IMA World Health.

David Finch

David is an experienced senior software developer, who joined us in 2013. He holds a BSc in Information Technology from North Staffordshire Polytechnic (now University of Staffordshire), UK. David has also worked as a software designer and senior Unix developer for IPA Systems, a major provider of pre-press software and equipment to the newspaper industry. Prior to this David worked in software development roles for the Bank of Nova Scotia, Pathtrace Engineering, and CAP Scientific (now part of BAe Systems). From 2013 to 2016 he assisted on the Girls' Education South Sudan programme where he led on SSSAMS database optimisation and supported the development of a desktop data entry tool for the entry of over 1.3 million individuals nationwide, able to work both on and offline. David then worked on development of software to support the Government of Lesotho's Biometric and Payroll Census for public servants, leading primarily on the development of a mobile data collection application. He is also part of the EU IMPACT tech team, administrating the bespoke database on the integrated HRIS and SSSAMS tools under IMPACT, and working to support the verification/enumeration and payment of 30,000 teachers in South Sudan. Then 2018 to 2020 David worked on the Government of Malawi's Real Time Data Monitoring (RTDM) project to collect data on student attendance and teacher activities, and the Community Dialogue Platform (CDP) to allow communications between the Ministry, parents of important information and parents give feedback of local and student issues. David is currently working on the Malawi Government's, Social Cash Transfer Program (SCTP) as a DevOps keeping their Legacy MIS running whist CGA develops it replacement.

Desislava Dencheva

Desislava Dencheva joined CGA Technologies in 2021 as Central Finance Officer and is based in the UK. She covers project accounting and reporting, confirms adherence to finance and admin processes and procedures, ensures financial transactions are properly recorded, provides supporting information and assists in the preparation of financial reports for ongoing contracts, assists in the preparation of forecasts.

Ellen Rushforth

Ellen joined CGA as a Fellow in 2019 and is based in Juba, South Sudan. Since joining CGA, Ellen has worked on a Third-Party Monitoring project for the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) in Maridi and Ulang. As part of this role, she supported the research design and data collection. Ellen also led on the final presentation to SDC providing recommendations for future project implementation. In addition, Ellen has coordinated CGA's business development, leading on the development of bids and proposals. Currently, Ellen is working on the GAC-funded AGENCI project which supports vulnerable girls affected by the crisis. Ellen also represents CGA at the South Sudan Cash Working Group. Prior to joining CGA, Ellen worked on health outreach projects in Northern Uganda delivering health services to rural populations, and she contributed to a livelihoods project in Tamil Nadu, India. She has a Bachelor's in Geography from the University of Manchester and an MSc in International Disaster Management from the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute.
