Akalanka is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, graduating from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2015. During her 8 years of clinical practice she worked in several leading private sector hospitals in Colombo, gaining extensive experience in geriatric and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, women's health and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.
In 2022, She completed her MSc in clinical & Health Psychology from University of West London gaining additional experience in working in different clinical settings and taking a more holistic approach to patient management. Akalanka also holds an MSc in Musculoskeletal Management from the University of Lancashire. Her treatment style includes individualised patient-centred treatment plans based on the most up to date treatment practices. She is also certified in Acupuncture.
Anamaria qualified as a physiotherapist from University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Romania in 2012. During a 2 years Master degree in Rehabilitation at University of Romania she worked in a private practice as a physiotherapist part time and consolidated her knowledge.
In 11 years experience in clinical practice, her treatment philosophy includes using manual therapy to restore joint mechanics followed by muscle retraining and motor control strategies to correct movement dysfunction. She provides individualised, one-on-one treatment and develops exercise programs geared towards the level and goals of the patient.
Anamaria has a passion for helping people, while empowering them to contribute to their own healing. She takes the time to find the root of a person's problem, and then together with them, creates a plan to address the immediate concern as well as enhance daily living after rehabilitation and prevent reoccurrences.

Andrew Gough qualified from Keele University in 2004. He has since worked as a physiotherapist within East Lancashire NHS Trust and Blackpool Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. 6 years ago, he progressed from the level of Clinical Specialist to gain the role of an Extended Scope Physiotherapy Practitioner. He has advanced skills in Diagnostic investigations, and both the assessment and treatment of Musculoskeletal pathology. He has a particular interest in Spine, shoulder, hip, and knee pathology.
Andrew is trained to Masters level and is highly trained in The Physiotherapy Field. He has assisted in the training of other physiotherapists and Health care professionals on The Masters Scheme at UCLAN. In 2018 he was awarded ‘Blackpool Gazette Therapist of the Year' for his NHS work in the Fylde area.
Andrew has a wide experience in the management and treatment of all joints of the body. He has - treated athletes involved in swimming, running, mixed martial arts, rugby, cricket and football. He has previously worked for Redbull with their X-Fighters in London and Mixed Martial Arts and Thai Boxing events.

Catherine Merritta Lazarus trained as a Physiotherapist at the Christian Medical college, Vellore, India in 2007. After that she has worked in a Multispecialty Hospital in Chennai, India where she worked in the area Women's Health among other musculoskeletal, Neuro, Geriatric and Rehab Areas. Following this she has worked in a Physiotherapy and Wellness centre as a clinical Physiotherapist and Fitness Trainer for a period of 5 years. Here at the Ambulant, she is the Women's Health Physiotherapist and a registered member of POGP and treats a wide range of Women's health problems like Urinary incontinence, Bowel Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Post -Pregnancy problems like Diastasis Recti Abdominis, Post c-section scar Mobilization, Low Back Pain and Female Pelvic Pain.
She does detailed assessments and gives adequate education and Therapy according to the Individual Needs of the Patient.

My name is Glyn Harris and I am an experienced BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist practising in the North-West of England. On my days off I like to climb and cave. The latter sports have given me an excellent understanding of fear, anxiety and panic, how to control the latter and this has proven to be a valuable asset when treating anxiety disorders with CBT.

Martha opened Ambulant Physiotherapy Ltd in January 2005 and she has put a lot of hard work and energy into making the practice the success that it is today. The clinic offers physiotherapy appointments six days a week.
Martha graduated from Coventry University in 1997. She is a chartered physiotherapist and has broad knowledge and experience from several NHS hospitals around England, and has been specialising in the musculo-skeletal field over the last 7 years. She partakes in postgraduate courses to continue her professional development, to maintain a high level of knowledge, and also to learn new treatment techniques. Recent courses include updates in acupuncture, muscle energy techniques, kinetic control and Swingbuster®. Martha frequently works with a wide variety of patients and has extensive knowledge of how best to treat a range of injuries.
