As well as selling a huge range of music, literature & films we also hold regular events & like to think that we provide a strong link for the local music community. Our Bristol store has recently had a cafe/bar concession open in partnership with Friska & has since expanded its regular artist appearances with great shows from Palma Violets, Dutch Uncles, Edwyn Collins, Peace, Phosphorescent & Daughter all appearing since the turn of the year. We have also hosted instores from such luminaries as DJ Shadow, Laura Marling, The xx, Mumford & Sons, Beak> & many, many more in the past. Alongside these instores, we host film nights, DJ sets & the famous Rise Quiz. All three stores celebrate the now famous Record Store Day in April every year with festivities and a large selection of stock on sale...
