Being a fully qualified Joiner himself and having the fortune of completing an excellent 6 year apprentiship in the early 80's with Bell & Ridley who, were based in Durham City where he had the opportunity to learn traditional methods of Joinery and Carpentry, using traditional methods with traditional handtools, including manufacturing Gothic Arches within historic buildings, bespoke furnishing within Vicarages and Churches throughout the North East and Co Durham with the highlight of having worked on the beautiful Durham Cathedral within the City of Durham.
