Believe it or not it would be another 17 years before condensing boilers would become mandatory in the UK, but we've always been pioneers at heart. In 1996 we designed a boiler component that was so simple and advanced, it remains at the cutting edge of boiler technology today. It's our bithermic heat exchanger. What this means is that our boilers have no secondary hot water plate heat exchanger, diverter valve (combis), valve motor or auto air vent; basically, all the parts that stick, leak and let you down aren't there. And, unlike other condensing combis, ours condense all the time in both central heating and hot water modes, delivering exceptional energy efficiency... Today we're still a close-knit group of engineers and researchers and we're just as dedicated, but there are a lot more of us and we're multi-national.
