Caroline Redman Lusher

Caroline Redman Lusher was honoured with a music-industry ‘Gold-Badge Award' by the PRS (Performing Rights Society) and BASCA) British Association of songwriters, composers and authors) for her contribution of Rock Choir to British Music. Rock Choir was created in 2005 by award-winning musician, singer and performer, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the help and support of both her husband Stuart and father, Dave Lusher, AKA ‘Captain Rock Choir'. Caroline's background and experience as a qualified musician and teacher led to the emergence of Rock Choir and it wasn't long before she attracted many other talented individuals to join her and her family-team in impacting many other communities across the UK with the unique Rock Choir experience that she had created.

Jennifer Scouller

Choir Leader Jennifer Scouller runs Rock Choir in Bothwell, Rock Choir in Glasgow, Rock Choir in Kilmacolm, Rock Choir in Largs, Rock Choir in Milngavie, Rock Choir in Bearsden, Rock Choir in Houston and , Rock Choir in Helensburgh. Jennifer joined Rock Choir in 2010 and became a Music Leader a few months later. She quickly introduced a variety of daytime and evening choirs throughout Glasgow and its surrounding areas, paving the way for the continued growth of the Rock Choir community in Scotland. Jennifer enjoyed a very musical upbringing and was accepted into the Royal Scottish Conservatoire in Glasgow. She later achieved an Honours Degree in Psychology from St.Andrews University. Before joining Rock Choir Jennifer taught music in group sessions to hundreds of young children across Glasgow. In her career with Rock Choir Jennifer and her choir members have taken part in some amazing events, including arena shows at Wembley Stadium, the Liverpool Echo Arena and the 02. Personal highlights include taking to the stage with her fellow Rock Choir colleagues at the Hyde Park Proms in the Park. In 2015 Jennifer was delighted to be asked to assist with the teaching of the Andorran Teen Rock Choir which was a hugely rewarding experience culminating in her leading them on stage at the Rock Choir 10 Year Celebrations at the NEC Arena in Birmingham. Closer to home, Jennifer's choirs have performed at prestigious venues such as the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, the Kelvingrove Bandstand, the Fruitmarket and the Glasgow City Halls. Her choirs have also been part of Rock Choir's many runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Jennifer is a born organiser. She has arranged a recording trip to Abbey Road for her members as well as a tour to Paris including performances at the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland. Public Performances are an integral part of Jennifer's strong belief that music can help the community and bring joy to people's lives. Jennifer and her choirs via their many local performances have raised thousands of pounds for a large number of charities. Jennifer has boundless energy and enthusiasm. Her favourite saying is ‘what's for you will not go by you' and she believes joining Rock Choir was the start of a fantastic journey both musically and personally.

Kate Peters

A graduate of Leeds College of Music, Kate has worked in a wide variety of styles and areas of the music industry. Originally a classically trained singer and pianist, she now specialises in Pop and Jazz. Her versatility as a vocalist has enabled her to perform around the world and she has had the pleasure of working alongside some amazing artists, such as Candi Staton, Jaki Graham, Roachford, Katrina Leskanich, and Angie Brown. As a recording artist, Kate has appeared on national and international radio as well as national TV programmes including ‘Heartbeat', ‘The Royal' and ‘The One Show'. She is also an experienced songwriter and arranger and co-wrote the musical score for ‘Pinocchio' performed by Liam Mower, as well as the arrangements for recording artists Celtic Sirens, and The Brennans. Whether its 1940's style Andrews Sisters close harmony, Northern Soul, or Brazilian Bossa Nova, Kate loves to sing. She has a an 18-piece big band, celebrating the music of Ella Fitzgerald and performs Dance Music with award winning DJ Judge Jules. Kate has been teaching singing and running choirs for many years and believes there is nothing better. Singing is freedom and singing together is something everyone should experience. As a Rock Choir leader, she hopes to share this passion. People ask where she gets her energy from - that's easy… singing!

Kate Threlfall

Kate is a professional singer and pianist. Starting piano lessons at the age of five, she achieved Grade 8 with the London College of Music. Her passion for singing developed alongside and Kate became involved in local theatre productions, most notably playing lead role in ‘Watermark' at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. She went on to train at The Italia Conti Theatre School in London and has since been a Redcoat for Butlins, Keyboard Vocalist in a band and has travelled the world as Principal Vocalist aboard luxury cruise liners. In 2004 Kate won the award of Best Female Vocalist with her own act. More recently she has been part of a four piece musical tribute to the West-End and Broadway. Kate is thrilled to be part of the Rock Choir team and loves inspiring others with her passion for music.
