Driven by animal welfare, quality and service since 1947. The family behind the Soanes name - John, Margaret and Andrew with our founder, Tom and wife, Violet in the photograph. Missing from the picture is Margaret's late husband, Clive, who developed, grew and ran the business for over 40 years... We are proud of our traditional values of quality and service and we pride ourselves on rearing Yorkshire's tastiest chickens. From traditional beginnings when we delivered our chicken to our customers in wicker baskets, we now deliver five days a week throughout Yorkshire and beyond using our own drivers and a fleet of refrigerated vehicles... We use four generations of arable farming expertise to grow the finest wheat to feed our chickens and use our animal husbandry experience to produce tasty chicken.
