Dariel Pitt

  • National Trainer for Mental Health First Aid
Dariel is a National Trainer for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England CIC. Since 2014 she has been facilitating MHFA courses and is approved to deliver the entire suite of Adult, Youth, Armed Forces Community, Higher Education and Refresher mental health first aid courses. She is also an Associate Trainer for Mind in Harrogate District, and Training Provider for HeadFirst, the Mental Health and Suicide Awareness Hub for North Yorkshire Community Learning Partnership (NYCLP). As a National Trainer, Dariel delivers the Instructor Training Programmes and CPDs (Continued Professional Development), both "Face to Face" and "Virtually", for the MHFA Instructor community. Commissioned programmes have included the CITB (Adult), NHS (Youth), Hampshire County Council (Armed Forces), Cumbria County Council (Youth), E-ACT Academy (Youth) for example. For 5 years now, Dariel has been supporting and volunteering for Mind in Harrogate District, recently stepping down as a Trustee to support and mentor the staff with developing their Training Services. Her involvement and experience includes designing and delivering presentations and awareness courses on mental health in the local community for Mind in Harrogate District which have included Coca Cola, Belzona, CNG, Fountains Abbey, St John Fisher's School.
